Hair is extremely important - especially when your look is totally defined by it, if you're like me.

How do you take care of you hair?
What do you use to style your hair, if you choose to do so?
    How often do you shampoo?
    Do you condition?
How often do you get a haircut?

Is the upkeep of your hair important to you?

I don't really care much about my hair, but I do have to admit I care a good degree more about it now than I have in the past. I finally grew it out (after having it super short) in the last year so now I actually have to pay attention to it everyday.

I just use shampoo and, occasionally, conditioner. I think both of them are a smoothing/straightening sort of formula and I do notice a difference between that and normal shampoo. I shower once every other day or so and I condition once a week? Something like that. I don't know. When I'm out of the shower, I have to blowdry my hair before it air dries or else it gets frizzy and annoying, and then if I have time, I try to straighten it real quick too because it makes it so much more manageable. All I do with my hair, though, is toss it in a ponytail though. (Usually a regular one but I've been putting them to the side lately too. FASCINATING.) I... kind of want to start braiding my hair more often and was practising a lot yesterday but I am so unbelievably bad at it that I don't think it's going to be a thing.

I haven't really gotten my hair cut in a while. I get my bangs cut every 3-4 months (I should do it earlier than that but I'm lazyyy). I should probably go in for an actual haircut pretty soon since I think I'm getting split ends baaw. :(

That's the most I've ever written about my hair. It seems like a lot to me but honestly I don't really spend more than 10-15 minutes on it ever.

I wash it, I comb it, and I go for a hair cut. That's... about it.

I used to use gel when at special events (like a wedding), but I've stopped that I think.

I don't care too much about my hair. I do basic maintenance on it and that's it. I am sure to keep it trimmed short since it looks horrible if I try to grow it out. It usually needs to be cut once a month - five weeks at most.

I have to use a special cleanser instead of shampoo because of my allergies, and I can't use other chemicals in my hair, either.

I love my hair, even though I don't get to shower as often anymore. I still use tons of conditioner and stuff when I can't take showers frequently (like the kind you leave in). My favourite product is Wen. TEA TREE! My husbando spoils me with it. <3 It makes my hair so soft.

I also keep my hair dyed blonde/green. On a regular basis. Speaking of which..... I have to go get some more White Out bleach kit and green dye. It's nearly about that time to reapply! (I rhymed~)

I don't really care much about what my hair looks like, but I do comb it before I go out of the house. I also have haircuts every once in a while.

Right now I cut my hair once every few months, shampoo/condition every couple of days, and blowdry it for at least a few minutes after a shower. If I'm really lazy, I'll just blowdry my bangs. Otherwise, I'll style my entire head even if I'm going straight to sleep after it. I didn't care before but right now it kind of feels nice to care about my hair because it's not usual for me haha.

I wash my hair daily, it gets majorly greasy if I don't. I don't usually use any sort of products in it other than shampoo, for fear of having my hair get even greasier.

I used to get a haircut every couple months, but now I'm trying to grow my hair out so I can wear it in a bun. It's not even shoulder-length yet (and I've been trying to grow it out for months!) so I've got a long way to go.

Well, my hair is like an average Japanese boy, black, straight down and simple. However, I do tend to keep a side covering my eye (I am no emo xD I just like it that way). I wash my hair everyday, during weekends twice and during weekdays once each night. I use shampoo ALOT since my hair gets very dirty easily. I never need to comb or fix my hair :D even when someone tries to mess it up! I hate haircuts and take them once every 4 months, since I don't really like to show my face often...

I guess I take care of my hair, sort of. I'll try to shampoo it every day because of how greasy it gets just sitting around all day. I'll also try and wash it because of how stubborn the product I use in my hair is. I won't condition though because unless it's a special kind that I don't buy that often it just makes my hair look really greasy instead of looking nice and clean.
Having my hair presentable is pretty important to me, most of the time anyway. Whilst my hairs short I'll constantly have it up doing something whenever I leave the house. Even if it's just popping out to the corner shop to get my bus pass or something.

Basically just wash it a comb it everyday... I'd only get a haircut for stuff like weddings. I wash it with some Australasian shampoo and condition it every Sunday.

I shampoo my hair everyday because it gets really greasy overnight so I don't really have a choice unless I go the powder route which is only if I have no other possible choice atm. I rarely condition because of just how greasy it gets, but if I do I usually only put it on the very ends of my hair. I straighten my hair a bit so I try to buy breakage defense shampoos and creams for it so I'm not full of split ends. I usually get my hair cut every 4-6 months depending on what I feel like at the time.

I never used to be all that bothered about my hair, to be honest. I've always dyed it, but that was about it. I am now, though. It does pretty much define my look now.

I have to re-dye it at least once a week, sometimes twice. It's purple with a load of blue in the fringe - the purple's easy, it lasts a couple of months. Blue is a pain to keep up, though. Worth it xD
I sometimes style it with gel or wax but usually just brush the fringe and mess up the back.. I shampoo it about once every 4 days, dry shampoo the rest of the time. Conditioner.. not so much. Occasionally if it's getting a bit dry from bleaching but that's about it. Even that's not very often since I only need to bleach roots now.

Upkeep's pretty important to me; if my hair colour looks rubbish, I tend to feel pretty bad. Get it cut about once a month or so, can't really afford more than that. Dye it myself - not paying £50 when I can do it just as well myself xD

I wash my hair and condition it every other day and brush it every day. I dont really style my hair other than maybe put it into a ponytail or straighten it with a flat iron sometimes. I honestly prefer my hair straight, its easier to manage and I like the way it looks more. I dont get a haircut very often, probably every 6 months or so when I think I really need to.

    Ahahahahhaa!

I am so lazy with my hair! It's something I put next to no effort into maintaining. I wash my hair a few times a week with shampoo. I rarely ever style it cause my hair is terrible for that sort of thing. I like to grow my hair out for a month or two before getting a short hair cut. Short hair doesn't need to be maintained which is good for me. Medium length hair is OK for me as well but when it gets too long, it just looks like a horrible mess.

I wash my hair everyday, not because I want to but because I have to. I got my mothers lovely hair genes. ;; My hair is naturally straight and it doesn't really stick out anywhere. So I don't really attack it with heat and chemicals. I do get the odd day when it just isn't funny. When I style my hair I usually use Shockwave. It's good for what I used to do with my hair. I get extremely lazy when it comes to getting a haircut though... like really lazy. As in haven't had a hair cut since March lazy. I'm getting it cut this Saturday and hopefully I'll be able to keep it short from then on. Because I really hate long hair. I also dye my hair every 2 or so months. I usually go dark brown for when I have long hair. But I've also used Black dye when I have short hair.

I have really thick hair. It pretty much looks the same every day, whether I brush it or not, and rarely gets tangled. I wash it once a week.

I basically do nothing to my hair and it still looks fine :P

I wash my hair when I shower. Sometimes I condition, it depends on my mood. Then I brush it when need be. If I'm going out I may put hairspray in it although idk why. That is my haircare.

Right now I've been keeping my hair short. If it's to my shoulders, I get it cut. So every few months depending on if I set aside the money to get it cut.

I shampoo and condition my hair every day. It gets unbelievably nasty if I leave it for too long and I really hate that about it. I've tried conditioning every other day, shampooing every other day, and the conditioner-only washing, but honestly nothing seems to keep my hair from getting gross and greasy except shampooing and conditioning every day.

The most I'll style my hair is a hair clip or hair tie. I feel like I beat it up enough with all the conditioner and whatnot that I don't want to add anything extra once I'm out of the shower. Usually whatever I do will look fine for a day.

I care about my hair. I wash, shampoo, and condition my hair every 2-3 days. It's better for my hair to do it this way (rather than daily). I blowdry it and style it when I want to, or when I know I'm going out. I use a heat protection straightening serum before styling. This reduces the heat damage and improves the look of my hair. I flat iron my hair, as I prefer having straight hair. I can't stand my natural wave. It's a frizzy mess because I've damaged my hair. Highlights, dyes, styling, oh my!

I really dunno how often I get a haircut... I really need a haircut right now. My hair's past my mid-back area. I need to re-dye it brown to get rid of the faded blonde highlights. Right now, my hair doesn't look good. I still get compliments, but I don't like my hair's weird coloring. ><
