2nd Gen Hatching a Shiny

I have a few questions pertaining to hatching shiny Pokemon...

1.) Is it more likely that you will get a shiny Pokemon from an egg if a parent was a shiny Ditto?

2.) When a shiny Pokemon hatches from an egg, is the sprite shiny?

3.) If you are 8 steps away from hatching an egg when you save, then you continue and hatch the egg & it isn't shiny, can you reset the game and take 8 steps & there be a chance that it will be shiny?

The thing with the shiny ditto wont effect it, but Ive always wanted to know if you can save and the reset to get a shiny

I've read on several sites that in the Metal Generation games, shininess was determined by IV's and they could pass them down through breeding.

2. If you mean when the egg hatches and sparkles like a shiny then yes, and the color changes too.

No, the outcome is still the chance of finding a shiny in the wild. (eight thousand something out of ten thousand, I think)

No.

I've tried, and no.
