4th Gen have you ever encountered a ghost in the game?

    i have i was in the place were you get rotom and there was a girl in the other room i could see her but she walked out and didint see her in the place....also a old man walked threw the big table....IT WAS FREAKIE!!
     
    i neve saw the old-dude or the little girl.

    Yeah, I saw the old dude in the mansion. I thought he wasnt a ghost and i looked for him so i could talk to him. hehe. and yeah, of course i saw rotom. I caught him! :P
     
    yea i did the same, i was looking around the entire room wondering where he went lol.

    i got rotom too :D, he is actually pretty cool. i didnt see the others though, theres 3 ghosts apparently
     
    There a story about this.The girl and her family were poisoned, when the butler put poison in the food. Then he poisoned himself. Wierd but cool, i believe if you wait during like midnight something strange will happen, but only on tuesdays. Muwhahahahahahahaha.
     
    Yeah, the ghosts are old news. There's two IIRC, the girl and the old dude.
     
    i have seen them both. the only thing odd about them is that they disapear out of the screen and they glide and don't walk. and as Gofre said this is old news.

    i just checked them out and saw them both, but im kinda dissapointed they weren't all white.. this wasnt scarry..
     
    Yea, I saw both. First ghost I saw was the
    butler. HE SCARED THE FREAK OUTTA MEH!
    Then I saw the kid. Didn't see her gliding though,
    so I thought she was an exploring girl until
    she never appeared in the hallway.
    I said I'd never go to the Old Chateu (sp?)
    again but when I bought a new guide,
    I read about Rotom. I took my
    butt over there and acted like a "spy"
    like the Naive person I am and
    ran crazily to the T.V. room.
    XD I admit I acted like a noob.

    yes i did and i knew they were ghosts i didn't freak out i wanted to talk to them though:( but i couldn't
     
    Is there a gimmick for the old man? 'Cuz I can get the girl to appeare easy enough - go in the room second from the right and she ought to appear; if not, try again in a few minutes.

    Also, although no one seems to notice this - in the room where there is a purple painting of an old man, his eyes, which are BLOOD RED, follow you until you get too close. Also, if you have a certain GBA game in the alternate slot, you can catch Gengar, free-of-charge.

    ^_^ Saves me the trouble of trading.

    That game is Emerald. By the way, the chance of getting a Gengar in that room is 3. Basically it has an encounter rate of 3

    Bah! You beat me to it! I noticed that painting thing and...the eyes follow you even if you're in another room too...
     
    those eyes did get annoying while i was ev training a few of my pokemon.
    oh and gengar appear when you insert any pokemon game in the gba slot, not just emerald.
     
    Wasn't there a thread like this before? Anyway this is old news.
