    ...I was trying to think of a thread idea for 50 minutes (literally) and yet Don got one in like 5 minutes ... anyway! Have you ever slipped on ice? :O If you live in a country without ice, but you've been ice skating, have you slipped on the ice there?

    I've tried ice skating, but I stuck to the edges so... there was no chance I could slip. And where I live we don't even get ice, so yeah :(

    I don't really call falling while ice skating slipping. But being in Australia, the only real time I actually "slip" is in the kitchen when I have my socks on.

    My friend slipped on the ice and broke her arm...

    I slipped on the ice yesterday and may have contorted my back in a way it shouldn't have been. Also, a few other places on me still hurt (like both of my left limbs, and the back of my head). That time was by far the most painful because it wasn't a simple slip and fall back/forward like all the other times I've slipped - I did a 90-degree twist to my left while falling.

    Yes, many times. XD A few times, I've caught myself, but usually I fall on my ass. Luckily it doesn't hurt too badly. =P

    When I was little, the pond in our garden froze over and I walked on it but then I fell in. It wasn't very nice.

    Yes I have,
    But i've never fallen fully over I just slip cooly over the ice 8D

    Yes.. ;;

    Oh, it was so humiliating. I was walking home with my brother from my grandparents. I was crossing this road and it was sort of sloped, and I started to slide..... and couldn't stop myself..

    I went straight down, and really hurt my back. I couldn't get back up again so my brother had to help me up. >:
    Someone then drove past, wound down their window and called out; "You alright there, little girl?"

    ... I replied, blushing madly, that I was fine. The "little girl" thing annoyed me though. ... x_x

    I always slip whenever I go through the parking lot as a short cut. There's always ice there, and I always slip. Nowadays, it's second nature. I slip, then get back up and keep walking. xD

    Yup, I have before. Once I was walking to my bus stop and slipped. I really hurt my back ;_; At least no one saw it xD

    Oh, all the time. I've lived in Canada my whole life. I've never once gone a winter without snow and ice and all that fun stuff.

    Though I can't think of any time I've slipped on ice recently--you learn pretty quickly to make sure to walk on salted areas. And in the event of no salt, you actually learn to walk swiftly while testing each step for slipperiness. :]

    Sucks when you have to carry huge boxes in winter, though. Can't see where you're feet are. XD;

    Yeahhh... last time I nearly slipped was a few weeks ago when I was taking out the recycling. 8D;

    But even then, it's not hard to test your footing as you take steps to make sure you aren't on ice. Black ice suuuucks though. :(

    Yeah I have slipped before. When it snows in New York it turns into ice quickly. ^_^ At least where I live and I definitely have fallen and slipped.
