Hey, PC. I'm bill flibby. In most games people call me flibby.

I've played nearly every main entry in the Pokemon series since Red, I say my favorite region is Johto but I've always had a soft spot for Hoenn.

I'm currently a Computer Science major with an emphasis in programming. I haven't made any games, mostly just programs for school with a few personal projects here and there. For the last year I've been working on website maintenance for one of my college's departments as part of my work study.

I'm looking forward to getting to know this community!

hello bill and welcome to pc! computer science sounds like a cool degree. i know before i started college i was looking into doing that degree, but chose another route. you should check out the computer & technology board to find people who are interested in the same thing as you are. let me know if you need any help or a friend, drop a vm.

Before gen VI, I'd have to say that Sinnoh was by far my favorite of the DS games. The excavating bits were a really cool way to get decorations and items (? If I recall correctly?).

A lot of people end up starting the CS degree but switch to something else - at my college we get a lot of IT converts. Before CS I was majoring in Mechanical Engineering, then switched to Electrical Engineering, then finally found myself in CS. I've enjoyed it thoroughly so far.

Computer science is a pretty cool major - my close friend that went to uni with me majored in it too and I wanted to try it out at some point but in the end it was too math heavy for me to seriously consider haha. Pretty awesome though! How confident are you in your programming skills?

Anyways, big welcome, flibby. ^_^ Hope we'll be seeing you around and the like and brownie points for liking Johto and Hoenn since they're obviously some of the best regions, lol. (And geez, so much hype for Witcher 3. My boyfriend's pretty obsessed with it too. I am so out of place all of a sudden. :()

Sounds like you're going to love PC!, Johto and Hoenn are great regions. And IT sounds very fun to do, I still need to think what I want to do with my life, haha. By the way, who's your favorite Pokemon?

I wouldn't recommend Computer Science unless you're either a masochist or the next Stephen Hawking - it's painful.

My favorite Pokemon is... Well, I've got favorites for different gens, but I dunno about an all-time favorite. It's between Totodile, Fennekin and Milotic.

Yeeeaaah, I'm getting into the upper level CS classes that are heavy on the math. Wishing I took more notes in Calculus >_> As for programming skill confidence, I'd say it isn't a matter of whether or not I can program it, it's a matter of how lazy am I and will I do it the "right" way. For school, I generally used shortcuts to try and get the project done as quickly as possible. But for leisure I would take time and research the best way to go about something.
