    So I actually made this account a few months ago but I finally decided to give it a real go.

    I go by dopamine on here, I am a 21 year old female, turning 22 next month, and I've been playing pokemon since 1998 when Yellow came out. I believe I was 5 years old then, and my favorite pokemon was a Dewgong that I trained all the way to level 100. I loved that Dewgong.

    I haven't really owned a pokemon game since Emerald, and it wasn't until recently that I finally got back into the groove. As of now I mainly play Omega Ruby and Y.
    Between my siblings we have at least one of each of generation of pokemon games so I've played a bit of them all.

    I am a breeder, I love to customize pokemon that way, and I particularly like breeding for shinies. I used to be really good at chaining pokemon for my sister in her older games but I'm out of practice.
    Because of this you'd think I would have made getting a shiny charm my priority, but I actually am not too concerned with that atm. My luck has always been pretty good when it comes to getting shinies regardless.

    Recently I've also thought about getting into competitive battling so I decided to make use of this place to learn more about the quirks of all that. Pokemon battling is serious stuff.

    So that's about it :)
    I hope to get to know some of you better.
     
    Hey hey. Competitive training and such is easier than ever thanks to Super Training feature to get those EVs right and easy. If you need help feel free to ask, we don't crunch (hur dur bite joke).
     
    Hey dopamine! Welcome to PC! It's crazy how fast time goes with Pokemon. It feels like I just started playing Pokemon yesterday even though it was ~8 years ago. And wow! 5 years old and you were playing Pokemon! I doubt I could even read what they were saying and if I could than I sure wasn't comprehending any of it. :P

    It's great to see that X/Y or ORAS brought you back to Pokemon. It seems like it's done that for many people. Score one for good graphics/mechanics... u-unless you didn't even care about that... then I'm stupid. ;-; ALSO it's nice to see that you and your siblings get along and Pokemon together. It's always fun when you play with more people. Are they competitive battlers? Or at least thinking of competitive battling as well?

    So you're into breeding huh? If you want you could open up a Trade Shop here. I'd be a great way to make new friends here as well as get Pokemon you don't have yet.

    Chaining was fun in D/P/Pt but there were only a few spots I was decent at chaining in. :'c Though it was always so exciting seeing that shiny patch of grass. I remember getting all nervous when it finally happened! Welcome to PC, dopamine. That's quite a username haha.

    Glad to hear you're back into Pokemon too. The sixth generation really did bring a lot of people back into the franchise and breeding/competitive battling is especially popular around here. You're sure to have a blast - do stick around and ask if you need help, yes?
