    Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself. I am AuraoftheQ, or Aura for short. I have decided to make a small group called Aura Games, and using Aura Games, I will be making a Pokemon Rom Hack called Pokemon Absolute Version. If you have not heard of Pokemon Absolute, it is also a fanfiction that I have been writing for a little while now. If you which to check out the fanfiction, then please visit my DeviantArt, AuraoftheQ until I have uploaded my Volumes into the Fanfictions on PokéCommunity. I wish to also note that new Rounds come out every Thursday ONLY on DA, so if you wish to catch the newest Round, you will only find it there.

    If anyone is interested in helping make Pokemon Absolute Version, just pm me. :)

    It was nice meeting everyone, and thank you for accepting me at PokéCommunity! I am glad to have finally join. I should note that I am a very busy individual, so I apologize ahead of time for any late replies or responses.

    Interest: I like Pokemon (duh), games, Kingdom Hearts, games, Legend of Zelda, games, Making Games, games, and Anime & Manga
    I am a fan of Combos and Starbucks products, as well as a huge Code Geass fan. My favorite Pokemon are Mew and Dragonite (can't decide between the two), and I am a Pokemon Ranger fan.
    I aspire to become a Game Designer, either a Game Weather Developer, Game Programmer, or Game Level Design, or even a Game Mapper. I would prefer to become a Game Planner or Project Manager one day most of all. I currently am attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Game Art & Design and plan to graduate in 2017.

There is an excellent ROM Hacking section that you should check out, with plenty of hacks you can look at, maybe to pinch some ideas from ;) There's also the Anime & Manga section that I'm sure you'd love, so make sure you pop on over there and say hi!     A rom hack based on a fanfic? That sounds interesting. I can't wait to see what that hack becomes. In the meantime, I might check out the fanfic. Hope you enjoy the forums!
     
    Heya Aura and welcome to PC, awesome having you!

    I'd recommend looking at the Beginner's Lounge subforum of the hacking hub and possibly posting your hack idea there to gather some interest and feedback. I'm not well-versed in hacking myself so I can't offer much technical support but I do wish you luck in getting your game off the ground. ^^ You can also use that forum to ask questions when you're confused about building your game and the like. Have a great experience and please do stick around - there is plenty to do here even outside of hacking.

    (Is Code Geass that good?? I've been recommended to watch it but I barely sat through five minutes of the first episode before getting too lazy to continue on lol. I guess I should pick it back up...)

    Technically it's all correlated together. ^^
    I've actually been designing the game about a week before the Fanfiction, but that was with mapping and planning, and I had always wanted to write a fanfic of Pokemon, so I decided to base it off of Absolute. So it's technically one in the same at this point. Can't wait to see things grow. :)

    Hello there! It sounds absolutely cool that you're working on game design, something I can never hope to achieve. :P Although I don't drink coffee myself, I've worked for a time as a barrista, so I'm wondering what is your fave/usual at Starbucks?

    Hmm, Tiramisu Latte, Mocha Frappacino, the new Smores Frappacino are good. :o
    And I especially love the Peppermint Mocha. <3
