    Hello! New to the PC forums!
    (Not new to forums though, lol).

    Anyway, just going to start by saying I haven't played a Pokemon game since G/S.
    I bought Red and Blue, played Yellow and bought Gold.
    I played them all to the end of course and loved them!
    However, I never grasped much of the game, since I was very young.
    I knew the basic concepts and generally how stats worked.

    However, I've never known much about EVs/IVs, breeding for a good pokemon etc etc, the list drags on.

    So I'm a bit of a noob to Gen IV really. I bought Platinum and recently finished off the E4. Currently trying to find good Pokes and moves etc to begin building a competitive team for Wi Fi battling.


    Sooo yeah! Rather long hello, but I feel a good bit of info is always nice and it gives us something to read =p

    I welcome all friend requests and any help people can give!
    (Such as how EVs/IVs work. I've grasped roughly how they work, but I can't figure how they're calculated etc. Such as 31 IVs in each stat to a newly born Pokemon. What ? haha).

    So I apologise for the ridiculous wall of text, but I like to be nice and detailed and informative.

    Serebii has some of the most comprehensive IV/EV stat guides. I also believe they have some calculators there...

    Love your username for some reason haha. GSC was my favorite generation, DPPt were pretty good too. I try to forget RSE personally ;D

    GSC was my favourite gen too, mainly because it had some of the best Pokemon in the games, along with the first gen pokemon too, I loved it.
    I'm enjoying Platinum, really looking forward to HG/SS, but I'll wait for the English versions.
    I totally missed out on RSE, but they didn't really have anything that made me want to play or buy them ;p
