I have over $200 to spend and I'm looking for game suggestions. I tend to prefer RPGs with highly developed plots and hundreds of hours of gameplay as well as something with a lot of battle strategy and things to keep you busy and interested.

I'm considering a few games, so if you know anything about them, please give me some details on whether or not it's a wise choice. Right now I own PS2, GC, & GBA:

    -DDR Mario Mix (GC)
-Nintendo DS & MegaMan Battle Network 5
    -Medabots: Rokusho Silver (GBA)
    -DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi (PS2)
    -Super Dragon Ball Z (PS2 - 7/18)
    -Atelier Iris (PS2)
    -MegaMan Battle Network 6 (GBA)
    -Saga Frontier I, II (PSX)

If you do have any other suggestions, also note that if there are any multi-player games that are good, then I'd like to know about them. I recently bought Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu and it really sucks. Vengeance was much better. :stare: Other games I bought recently include Tales of Symphonia, Paper Mario, & Fire Emblem: PoR.

How about Fire Emblem: Path of Raidence? I never tried but I hope to try it soon.

I own that already. Haven't beaten it though. It's pretty good. Much different that typical games I'm used to playing.

paper mario 1 and 2. Mario party 7, Fire Emblem Path Of Raidence, Battalion wars, If you have DS: New Super Mario Bros.

He already has it. Anyway, tr Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Mario Kart Double Dash!! Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is actually better than what people say. It has very long play time. (40+ Hours to get to the true ending.) Mario Kart Double Dash!! is just a lot of fun. (Yes, the title of the game has thos 2 exclamation points.)

If you don't already got Super Smash Brothers Melee then you need it (to me it's the best game out there for the GC). Mario Kart: Double Dash is also pretty fun (it's better if you got someone to play with). If you're into racing type and crashing cars all over the place then Burnout Revenge is good. If you like fighting games then try Tekken 5 or Soul Calibur III.

If you want RPGs then there's 3 you need to play (these three are my fav RPGs for the PS2).
    Final Fantasy X
(if you only pick up one RPG then pick this one up, the storyline is perfect to me, and it's got tons of hours of gameplay. Even if you're not a fan of Turn-Based battles you should pick it up for the story).
Kingdom Hearts (if you've heard of it then you might know it's a strange mix, but it's a great game and the battle system is great as well as the story once you get into the game).
Kingdom Hearts 2 (if you want to understand this game more then get Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA, it's not a have to have like Kingdom Hearts, but it helps. But KH2 is a great great game and way better then the first on not only story but the battle system, it is a little shorter then KH but the story is well worth it).

Most of the games I named out is $20-30 dollars (I think KH2 and SCIII is the only ones that's still $50) so you you'll have more money for other games.

    Atelier Iris (PS2)

I'm not sure if the Atelier series is popular in the US, but it gets good coverage here.
It's pretty good for a RPG (since I don't really like RPGs these days) and the character designs are good.

    Go for it.

For DDR Mario Mix, I'm gonna go with a "no" on that one. Let's just say it would be something at the very bottom of your To-Do List.

And for a game I recommend (that's if you don't already have it) is Bloody Roar: Primal Fury. It's an awesome fighting game with anime intros and endings. The characters are finely developed and very unique in their own ways. It's available for the Nintendo GameCube, by the way. :D

From your list: Budokai Tenkaichi. It is the best game out of the entire Budokai series. The new fighting style is amazing. You will be entertained for a while with this one. Although it takes a while to get used to the controls, once you do, you will love it.

    Other games:
    - The New Super Mario Bros (DS) Worth it if you are a big mario fan.
    - Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend (PSP, PS2, and XBox) A relatively short game, but so much fun.
    - Final Fantasy X (A great looking fun RPG that will pull you in so fast you won't know what hit you.)
    -

MS Saga: A New Dawn if you like Gundam, RPGs and LONG Hours of gameplay(Ive been playing for a total of 20 hours and Im not even close to being halfway done)

I would avoid the DDR mario mix as all the songs are from the old games and the step charts are horrible to play and the difficulty is poorly made.

The DBZ games are okay but the I definately say get megaman battle network games because they are fast fun and have some interesting storylines to back up the fast action.

Fire Emblem games are great, and they require a lot of strategy, which I've noticed that you put down. I know that you already have PoR, but you might also consider the two FE GBA games.

Kingdom Hearts are great games, like Arcanine mentioned. The story might be confusing if you don't start with the first, though.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is a fun game. It can be addicting if you like real-battling and stuff. Final Fantasy X And Final Fantasy X-2 are both great games as well. It all depends on your preference, though. =D

You should definitely consider Kingdom Hearts, then KH2 and possibly Chain of Memories after you finish the first.

Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is awesome too, and you can get it for $20. If you can find the Collector's Edition used, you might consider that too. It's got four older Zelda games (Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask). A lot of people consider OoT to be the greatest game of all time, so you might want to consider picking it up. It's like $40 used, but worth it. But Wind Waker's $20, and it's a great game too.

I would recommend some of the less hyped, but good RPGs like Tales of Symphonia and Skies of Arcadia legends and some of the hyped but not mentioned above games like Star Ocean: Till the End of Time(Really Looooooooong game) and Xenosaga episode 1 (episode 2 sucks).

okayif ur looking for ps2 rpgs heres what u need to play (some have beeen said)

    -kingdom hearts
    -kingdom hearts 2
    -final fantasy 10
-star ocean 3 till the end of time

that last game i have over 200 hours on it. its very fun, addicting and SOOOO much stuff u can do on it

You should probably look into Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. It's kind of like Pokemon except with demons.

You might like Suikoden V, too but it's pretty easy. It has an excellent story though IMO

I think you should get pokemon games there so fun and long so that makes it more funner.
