    Swampert@Leftovers
Rash Nature (i had no choice, because its shiny)
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Earthquake
    Return

    Gardevoir@Twistedspoon
    Calm Nature
    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Thunderbolt
    Double Team

    Ninetales@Charcoal
    Modest Nature
    Flamethrower
    Confuse Ray
    Will-o-Wisp
    Safeguard

    Manectric@Magnet
    Thunderbolt
    Crunch
    Double Team
    Flash

    Armaldo@Liechi Berry
    Aerial Ace
    Brick Break
    Hidden Power(bug)
    Slash

Doesn't matter that is shiny imo, a better nature would be better.

    Gardevoir@Twistedspoon
    Modest Nature
    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Thunderbolt
Double Team/will-o-wisp/hypnosis (but I'm not sure)

    Ninetales@Charcoal
    Modest Nature
    Flamethrower
    Confuse Ray
    Will-o-Wisp
    Safeguard

    Sure.

    Manectric@Magnet
    modest/timid
    Thunderbolt
    Crunch
    Double Team
    Substitute

    take flash off for sub.

    Armaldo@Liechi Berry
    Adamant
    Aerial Ace
    Brick Break
    Hidden Power(bug)
    rock slide/rock blast

Cool you got lucky with that HP.

    Flygon@Choice band/something else
    Adamant/timid
    Dragon Claw/sub
    Earthquake
FLamethrower/hidden power bug if you get lucky.
    Rock slide

It actually is pretty solid, it can work imo.

If you havent got armaldo... then you prolly wont get Hidden Power [Bug]
Add Sword Dance>it and you have a very good pokemon because Armaldo can take more than a few hits and live

Did I say it was impossible? It is very unlikely... Don't forget you need a high base power

You keep trying until you figure out the BP and Type. Its not that hard Frost. :\

Not to be rude, but please don't downplay how difficult the process is. To me, it just looks as though you are saying that to make you look better. Again no offense intended, just my reaction to both of your posts.

The process itself is long and hard. To some of us that breed quite often and know all of the tricks, it can seem to us that it isn't hard, but to trainers who are not used to the process, it is incredibly frustrating and difficult. Don't give them the false impression that it isn't hard. That just isn't cool.

getting the right hp has only resulted in failure with me, i had something like: ah well, who needs the correct hp, i'll go with another move, just out of frustration...

    Wow. Very helpful post.

I would certainly hope that anyone who is taking time to try to get HP to be the right type and power are not doing their calculations by hand. If you are, PLEASE go to psypokes.com or serebii.com and use their calculator, or you can even download Metalkid's.

The IV calculator isn't the time-consuming process. It is the breeding to get the proper IVs. That takes a lot of time, not to mention a lot of luck, to get right.

I've become a lot better at getting the right IVs. Still, I breed sometimes for 5 hours straight to get the right HP. Heck, I do anything for good movesets.

Look, this isn't a pissing contest. Even with all the help that Emerald gives you with breeding, it takes more than 5 hours to get the right IVs for an HP that is the correct type and any power over 50. You only get three IVs from the parents while the other three are completely random. Hell, even the three IVs from the parents are random. Sure, you possibly could be like those that have actually gotten to Mirage Island and truthfully did get a correct HP with a decent power, but you simply cannot do that consistently, especially within 5 hours.

Some people can get it within 5 hours. Its a think we humans call "luck".

That came out wrong man. Very wrong indeed. :\

Shane is right though. Going for Pokemon with perfect IVs for Hidden Power will take forever and then some. There is a 1 in 1,073,741,824 chance that you'll get the IV you'll want in each stat. One in one billion! Not to mention that you may get a crap nature like Adamant Jolteon. You'd have a better chance of winning the lottery. So find out if people are using their teams in-game, and if they are, don't suggest Hidden Power.
