OK, now that I know where to post this question...

Yes, I am a beginner, and I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway.

I'm trying to raise a Jolteon. I want my Jolteon to know Wish. I know that Eevee can learn Wish, but I don't know how. Can someone please tell me how the heck I can get an Eevee/Jolteon that knows Wish?

    Thanks.

If you want to have wish in addition to whatever elemental moves you're looking for from Eevee's evolution, my reccomendation would be to level up an eevee until it gets wish, then breed it with a ditto. That way, you'll be able to have wish when Eevee's only at level 5. And that leaves you free to evolve it at your discretion. But I'm not sure if the Eevee you breed has to be a male or not. As I understand it, with ditto, things are a little different. But I do know that, to my knowledge, Eevee is the only one that can learn wish, whether through breeding, or levelling up.

well if you rare candy it up to the wish level, without any EV training, you can fit wish in, and do your EV training to have an easy wish-knowing jolt.

you may be able to use exp share to train it without giving it any EVs that you don't want, but i dunno if expshare distributes those too :-\

mainly not Evs but, lvl up moves jolteon learns that Eevee doesn't are important to him

Thanks for the replies, but I'm still confused.

I have the Leaf Green/Fire Red Nintendo Power Guide. I looked up Eevee in the Pok?dex, and it said that Wish is one of the egg moves for Eevee. But when I check the Level-Up Moves for Eevee, Wish isn't on the list.

Herein lies my problem. You all have told me to level up my Eevee until it learns Wish, then breed it, and I'll get an Eevee with Wish. Makes sense, except what level does Eevee learn Wish, if it learns it at all?

I checked guides on-line, my stupid guide book that I have, and asked the 1 friend of mine that likes Pok?mon, and nothing has helped so far.

    Your replies are greatly appreciated.

Okay, I was mistaken. :( You're right about Eevee's only learning wish as an Egg move... I don't know why I read the pokedex wrong, lol. The only way I could find to get wish onto Eevee was through this breeding chain:
    Togetic -> Pikachu -> Eevee

Which means, you level up a Togetic to get wish, (Make sure your togetic is a male!!!!) then breed it with a female pikachu. Level up your resulting (Male) Pichu until it becomes a Pikachu, and then breed it with your Eevee. A few things you need to keep in mind: It has to be a Togetic, because babies can't breed, and Togepi is a baby. In Fr/Lg, togetic learns wish at lv. 29, while in Ru/Sa it learns it at lv. 31. It absolutely HAS to be a male Togetic, because egg moves can only be learned through the father (unless it's with a ditto, in which case I'm not sure, lol) And your resulting Pichu MUST be male and MUST have wish, for the same reasons. Your Eevee MUST be female too, btw. If it isn't you'll just have to breed it with a ditto until you get a female. :( The same goes if your Togetic isn't male. You'll have to breed for a male.

Just to help you out, you can get a togepi egg from the old man on Chrono island in Fr/Lg. To get one in Emerald, you have to trade. To get one in Ru/Sa, you have to trade from Colluseum, and in Colluseum, you get one from the E-card room. Good luck! I hope your Eevee turns out great!

Wow, you are so helpful! Thanks so much for answering my question!

OK, now I'm going to be Pok?mon-ing around for a couple of hours, trying to raise an Eevee with Wish, then evolving it into a Jolteon.

    Thanks again!

Coolness! I guess it's safe to say that this can be closed then! *Hint Hint* Lol. I hope your Jolteon turns out just the way you want it! And if you really wanna go the whole hog, breed for the right kind of nature you want too. :D It'd be wicked cool to have a Jolteon that had such high Sp. Def. that your opponent just couldn't kill it! But that's just my opinion. :P
