    Hi I guess. So clearly, I'm new. BUT I've been playing pokemon since the first game came out - so don't worry, I'm not one of those five year olds who are like, "What's Bulbasaur?"

    Nor am I some old-timer who hasn't the vaguest idea what a DS is.

    Basically, I play all the games. And I watch all the anime. I also play the card game.

    I am familiar with Pokemon.

    "There, now wasn't that easier to say?"
    "...no, not really."

    So yeah, I think I may be done rambling now.

    Kidding, hey there and welcome to the forums, Woody! Same here, I'm also an old-generation player! I've been playing the games ever since I was a kid so it has already been part of my child hood. I can still remember the first time I saw a Pokemon and I thought what was it? Was it a real animal? I asked someone and told me that it wasn't an animal, it's a mere-creation out of 'em and it's called Pokemon. At that time, I kept bothering my mom for the games, but I got one during the holidays when my aunt gave me one! During my gameplay, I also started watching the anime, it was amazing. I actually thought I could get some tips on the anime for the game, but it was actually quite different as the anime doesn't have anything to do with the games besides the Pokemons. :P

    Oops, sorry for getting a bit off-topic there! Anyways, you just joined PokeCommunity and this is a Pokemon board for all PokeFans where you could discuss Pokemon to the fullest! There we have the Pokemon gaming discussions which would cover your Pokemon gaming discussion satisfaction - each of the games has it's own specific board like for example, Fourth Generation Games - HG/SS, D/P/PL and etc. The Trading Corner is there too if you are interested into trading! The Pokemon Anime board will bring back all the amazing memories from the past and the Pokemon Trading Card Game board is the right place if you are willing to share your card collections! :)

    There's a lot more to be honest but I don't want to spoil in the fun so why don't you discover all the things by yourself?     Hey there and welcome! Haha even if you were a five year old who asked what bulbasaur was youd still be welcomed and appreciated. :P I too watched the anime, played the games but i never did play the card game. (i more or less collected them as i didnt know how to play it :P) But whatever your interested in just look around a little and im sure youll find what you want.
