3rd Gen Hidden Power Noob

    Hi I have one question concerning hidden power. When I give it to a pokemon and lets say he has all the stats criteria to give him an Ice effect hidden power and than I level him up and all of his stats give him the criteria for a Fire effect hidden power. Will his HP effect change along with him or does it stay the same the entire time?
     
    i was always under the thought that HP is only determined by its IV values, and because IV's dont change when you level up, the HP stays the same for that pokemon no matter what you do with it
     
    Uhm... Well, Hidden Power is TOTALLY dependant on IV's Stats can change with EV's
    So I dunno... What were the stast originally?
