Ho-Ho--Gba too?

    hey, i was wondering for ho-ho, do you have to use pokemon from story mode? or can u you use gba pokemon too? ...my thought is you can use gba pokemon too, but idk, so please help me.
     
    You have to use Pokemon from story mode, but you can trade Pokemon from r/s and fr/lg into story mode and they would be ok to use. Btw, please ask simple questions in the simple questions thread that is stickied from now on.
     
    what latios_master said is right, it has to be story mode but u can trade.

    Yes if you trade them onto story mode first.
     
    trade your team to colosseum and register it in story mode. BTW, you'll need to purify all 48 shadow pokemon before getting ho-oh.
     
    i know i did that, then i found out i had to switch my team cuz i thot it was like the story mode one but just in battle mode, and so i had 40's with me lol and 20's
