Well, you do have to pay. If you have a credit card/PayPal account, you can pay from there, but there is a mobile way, but thats kinda risky and I advise against it.

And as for moderator, post thoughtfully and contribute as much as you can to the society and who knows.

Donations can get you supporter status, best way to go is to either do it via PayPal (with your parents' permission) or via snail mail (you won't need permission for that, just PM Rukario for the info, save up for a postage stamp and send the donation in)

Anyways, everyone else already mention how to become a supporter and direct you to the faq, but I want to say something. Realize moderating is not all fun and games. You have to constantly (or a few times) check your section(s) to make sure everything is fine and no spam and flamewars going. Also, you have to take some time off of your day to check the forums often if you want to do a good job of moderating. I have friends who are moderators in different forums and they say how moderating isn't all sunshine. Not trying to scare you or anything, but yeah, think before you ask that as being a moderator is a huge responsibility.

It's amazing how many people ask this question. >_> The FAQ clearly states the following:

...Moderators are chosen for their assets to the forum. If you would like to be a potential candidate, be sure to be kind, helpful, and make smart, quality posts. Don't spam and respect all those around you. When a moderator is needed in one of the areas you are constantly active in, you may be asked.

Oh, and remember this one oh-so-important rule:
DO NOT ASK TO BE A MODERATOR, OR YOU WILL NOT BECOME ONE. unless you're Gummy
