how do you change the backround in Battles.

    like if i want cave backrounds. id type Cave but it gives me a black background
     
    There is no default battle background. If it can't find the file it's looking for, it will show nothing (blackness) instead. Make sure the files exist and are named correctly.

    I should also ask where you're trying to "type Cave". In metadata.txt, in a line reading BattleBack=Cave? Note the capitalisation. Make sure you're putting that line in the appropriate place (i.e. for the map you were intending).
