how do you delete your account?

Um, you can't...?

Only administrators have the power to delete accounts, but even if they could, they won't. If you don't want this account anymore, just make a new or leave the forum.
 
But the addiction is good. Anyway, yeah, only admins can delete the account, though I have no idea why you'd want to.
 
If you're addicted then take a break..? xD; I mean, liking a forum is a good thing last I heard, sooo you can always leave for a bit, and then come back.
 
Even if you don't have access to your account you can still view the site not logged in.
If you change your password to something you don't know you can stop yourself from posting and when you want your account back use the "forgot my password" feature to get an email with a new password so you can get your account back again. There is absolutely no need to delete your account.
 
I am addicted too but yes only admins can ;) like everyone else has said
you could however log off and check on every so often that way you don't start posting
