How does reporting work?

I've reported a couple times when I see a bad post, where I get that little text box that asks me to say what they did. But after I click send, sometimes mods do something and sometimes they don't. Do the reports not get sent out every time o.o? And I never get a PM back saying "You report was sent!" or anything like that...

Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong ^.^;;

The report system leaves a ticket in an area of the Mod CP and all mods of the forum in question, along with the higher staff, receive the report. Sometimes the mods will deem whatever it was okay, so nothing will be done. Other times, it might take a while for someone to get on who can deal with it, or knows how. (It can take a while if it's a tougher request.) Once the report is dealt with, the mods are supposed to close the ticket and (optionally) leave a message to the original reporter.

If your report goes either unnoticed or unclosed, you can PM either a mod of the forum or a higher staff to ask about expediting or dealing with it. ^_^;

Also, every report you send is managed or something .. in the Post Reports page you can see. Look for the Quick Links button towards the top of the page, and click it. The last selection in the list is the one that you'll want. Or else, use this link - https://www.pokecommunity.com/postreports.php
You can see comments and all by the staff member who handled the report. You can check that way to see if your report has been dealt with.
