    Hey guys,
I was wonderingn how many of you just ditch your unwanted and low level pokemon in the PC to rot for ages? I admitt I do it sometimes, but I wonder why not jsut realease then and they'll be happier........

I definetly don't, i can use them for like HM's or something or train them and use them but if i catch a pokemon then i use them straight away :D

I have boxes full of Pokemon I never use, many of them caught solely for Pokedex completion purposes. I have "prize" Pokemon obtained through trades that I don't do anything with, yet I still have the desire to keep them. Then of course, there are the "failed breeding" ones whose IV's didn't make the cut...

In Pokémon Emerald, which is the version I'm playing the most at the moment, I have two kinds of boxes: Pokémon for PokéDex purposes, and Pokémon for Training. The training ones are almost constantly in use; I'm training up a box of Pokémon of varying types for the Battle Frontier. The PokéDex ones are used as HM slaves or are transferred to Platinum for training/PokéDex purposes.

In one of my FireReds, I keep all my low leveled pokemon there until i get to and beat the elite four the second time, and after i can easily do it with only 5 pokemon, i use the exp share and make them useful, then i trade them to RSE or migrate them to DPPt

I would hate throwing the Pokémon away that i've caught actually, that's why I keep them in my PC, I'm proud of my effort in catching them..
I mean some useless Pokémon could be thrown away but. You know..

For me, I catch any Pokémon I find if I have a good amount Pokéballs. I don't know why, but I like catching. ._.

I do. I have loads of noob pokes in my PC which will never be used... I might as well release them, but i'm too lazy.

I release everything except for my HM Slaves. If I don't need them anymore, then I just release them as well. Although, I generally don't catch anything except for HM Slaves (except for FR/LG where you had to catch 60 Pokemon... or something).

I don't play competitively, I don't migrate stronger Pokemon to new games, I frankly don't care much about the Pokedex, and I breed only for the fun of it and if I feel like experimenting. So, whenever I play through the games, I catch my full team of six (along with any HM Slaves), and I use them for the entire game.

I know the entire thing of Pokemon is to "catch them all," but I never saw the fun of catching hundreds of little critters just to rot away in the PC. I prefered battling with a team that you trained and had since the very beginning of the game.

I keep most of them there just in case, for GTS trades, HM slaves, etc. I keep alot in PokeRanch too.

I usually keep them. I wasted paid-for PokeBalls for whatever reason to catch them. If I release them, the PokeBall goes with them. Screw that, they can rot in box hell with my PokeBall.

I used to, but nowadays I don't, and just release Pokemon I don't think I'd be using/need rather than waste time and effort leveling them. This is because I like to level up my Pokemon evenly, and I gain some attachment to the 'mons and feel I should release them if I don't want them.

...which I admit is odd, considering it's just a game. But that's just me.

I return them from whence they came, I feel guilty if I bound them to the PC to never be used. I try to be somewhat strategic when setting up my team so that I have enough room for HMs.

I do... and i dont feel guilty doing that... Heck, its my box...
PETA can sue me for all I care D:

I nearly always do so , and usually after I beat the E4 in a game I COMPLETLY ditch my ENTIRE team in the PC and build another one . I did this in Plat. because my team sucked totally except for my Abomasnow and MAYBE my Staraptor . So this is why I did so !
