4th Gen I dont get it... (battle tower wi-fi)

    When you choose the woman on the right, you can battle random people from around the world. but how does it work? whats the room and rank? and how can i battle when im not connected, or am i actually playing someone live? i dont get it
     
    The Wi-Fi battling in Battle Park is only you connecting to Wi-Fi to download a set of 7 people's teams. After downloading, you are taken off Wi-Fi and sent to battle these 7 people's teams, but the teams you battle are all controlled by the computer, and not controlled by a live person.
     
    how do you win a place in the battle room? i beat the trainers in one particular room several times and never saw my name in the high score list or as one of the trainers you battle
