Hey guys, I need some help. Its been a long time since I've last played this game, and I wanna get back into it. But its been so long, I don't know where to start. Can you help me?

well same as i was a few weeks earlier man... lets see... when it comes to the game itself its mostly the same except that now you got supporters, pokemon ex, tools, etc but you can see all that in the pokemon tcg tutorial or via internet its not really that hard. About cards... well if you wanna play in the format then get everyhting from BW on since expansions rotates about a two years after they go out.

I'd recommend buying the Black & White Trainer Kit to learn how to play, as well as using the official tutorials to re-learn the game. Those official tutorials can be found here: https://www.pokemontcg.com/tutorials

Ok, then what's up with the "Ex" cards? And reverse holo cards?

EX cards are more powerful versions of the Pokemon that are featured on them. They are treated as separate cards for deck purposes.

Reverse holofoils are alternate foil versions of cards, but not every card in a set that has reverse holofoils in it will have a reverse holofoil version.
