    i have a question...

are Fire Red and Leaf Green good games. i dont have either one and i just wanted to know how they are. maybe one day ill get to play one and ill have an experience.

They are very good games. Its a new verison of the R/B/Y games. And you need them to complete your pokedex. It is worth getting.^__^. I think this is in the wrong forum too.

Yeah, this should definately go to the games section.

Anyways, since I'm a Pok?maniac in my own mind, I do suggest the game if you have the time. Like the original Red, Blue, and Yellow versions, you get to explore the land of Kanto. Of course, it's been modified to fit the Game Boy Advance screen more fully. In other words, the land is slightly larger. You'll meet all of the older trainers, like the kid who complains on why you don't wear shorts, but there's new trainers you can battle as well.

Unlike the originals, you'll also experience much smarter trainers as well. In the originals, everybody, trainers and wild Pok?mon, will use their attacks randomly. Now, tougher trainers and Gym Leaders will actually use the moves that will give them the advantage, much like the two newer series. Not to mention that there's Pok?mon from the Johto region to capture and the new unique abilities that each Pok?mon has (introduced in the Ruby/Saphire/Emerald series). Finally, there's more to the game than Kanto. The storyline goes further than that.

To sum it all, up, it's the original games, except buffed up completely. If you miss the old games, go ahead and buy one of them. If you really have the time, buy both! I strongly suggest to buy the games since they remind me of the old-school games.

    ...

But as the host of Reading Rainbow says, "Don't take my word for it!"

Yes I would totally Buy them. You'll sit there for hours and hours having fun.

If you like R/B, BUY IT! It's a really good game.

i felt like u did - i was unsure whether or not to buy it. i though its just a remake, so it can't be that fun. however, once u get it, it really seems like a whole new game. it isn't just about better graphics and breeding, it really does seem like a new game, and is just as fun (if not more) than the origional. if u liked the origionals, u almost have to buy this game. trust someone who had the same debate and feels it is one of the best uses of 30 dollars.

They are remakes of R/B/Y so if you liked those it's pretty much the same.Just better graphics and more added and stuff.

lets put it this way i could not stop once i started

Would you say that FR/LG are sequals to R/B/Y?

They are good games. They are more than a remake of R/B, it is a whole new game. Definately buy it if you get the chance.
