The pokemon trainers who travels with ash rarely evoles thier pokemon right? for example, when used to travel with ash her bulbasuar won't even evole, when she travels alone she manage to evole it twice. kinda wierd huh?

Thats because Ash has an Everstone dealer. At night, he crushes up the stones into dust and sneaks it into the Pokemon food mix so they won't evolve the next day.

Though, sometimes, it may not be enough Everstone powder, he gets paid in the back alleys by his friends rivals, keeping his friends down so the rivals can win. Its all part of Arceus' great plan, so Ash can pay in cold hard cash to be a Pokemon ma$ter.

well, May is not an idiot like Ash, Ash can have a freaking monster powerhouse in his possesion, but he is just too stupid to evolve them.

He could have Blastoise, Venasaur, Meganium, Feraligtr, Crawdaunt, and Typhlosion right there, but he is too much of an idiot to evolve them.

Pff, and to think May was an idiot in the beginning of Pokemon Advanced.

And i still can't believe she a Venasaur, it probably can look down on Ash's pokemon and laugh.
Heck, even Wartortle can evolve into Blastoise and then she could have a kick butt team

I dunno, but it's obvious that May did that since she wanted to be stronger and more elegant in Pokemon Contests... The guys above me explained it, too. It's quite simple, actually...

And you never know, maybe Ash's Bulbasaur will become a Venusaur, too...

Sigh, maybe I should remind you that MANY of the pokemon on Ash's team that didn't evolve VOLUNTARILY chose not to evolve. I mean, don't blame Ash for not having them evolve, since the Anime made it QUITE CLEAR that if a pokemon doesn't want to evolve, no one, and I DO mean no one should force it to evolve. case in Point, Bulbasaur, in the episode "Bulbasaur and the Mysterious Garden", he CHOSE not to evolve. Ash didn't force him not to evolve, he CHOSE not to evolve. So don't call Ash an idiot for not evolving his pokemon.

Also, maybe May's squirtle had evolved into Wartortle, but Ash's Squirtle has Hydro Cannon, so even IF he/she/whatever her squirtle/wartortle's gender is evolves into Blastoise, Ash's squirtle will still be one step ahead of it.

Ok, then, there was one other who was explicitly shown to refuse to evolve. Pikachu refused to evolve (As a matter of fact, he refused to evolve TWICE). the others were more implied to have refused to evolve (Ash's Squirtle is the leader of the Squirtle squad, and it's team is composed of elite squirtles, and I don't think that the leader and founder of the squirtle squad would want to disappoint his comrades by evolving into a pokemon.)

Totodile and Cyndaquil could have been fearful of evolving into their next stages.

Corphish could have been afraid of evolving into Crawdaunt since it might be scared of getting the same persona as other Crawdaunts (I don't think the writers were trying to avoid giving Ash a Dark type, since if they were, they would have evolved James' Cacnea to fit in for the bad guy quota [I mean, from the day it was caught to the day James lent it to Gardenia, it still hadn't evolved, it couldn't have been because Harley had a Cacturne, since Ash already had a Bulbasaur and Squirtle, which never stopped May from acquiring two of the same species. Besides which, May and Jessie also caught the same species of pokemon {I.E. Wurmple.}.].).

And, considering how Turtwig is similar in many ways to Bulbasaur, for all we know, it could ALSO refuse to evolve as well.

well i think your right.....you can't call ash an idiot if he didn't evolve his pokemon's...it's not just like in the game that if you want to evolve a pokemon...you can evolve it easily...pokemons have feelings to you know...
