    There are a list of things you can make with potatoes. French fries, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, potato soup, twice-baked potatoes, potato flats.. which one do you like the most?


    If we're at home I'd have to go with potato flats, because no restaurant makes 'em as good as we do. When were out, it's fries at fast food (for lack of choice) and mash at sit-down places for a change of pace. :)

    i love potatoes like you don't even know. mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, fries, chips, you name it. i'm the ultimate potato lover. fight me.
     
    I enjoy fries but mashed potatoes are the best.
     
    Slicing up potatoes just 1 direction and then baking those in an oven... mmm I love that. They also cook faster than a baked potato.
     
    It depends. I adore mash, as long as it has flavour and doesn't resemble prison food. Mash can go with so many dishes but its even great on its own. <3

    I like baked potatoes with roasts and things like that, but otherwise they're not the highest on my list (mostly because the potatoes here are pretty bad). Then there are fries, which I enjoy as an occasional snack if we're travelling. I eat them once every year or so lol, but I LOVE hash browns. :D
     
    I don't eat potatoes v_v

    They are a complex carb an I am trying to stick away from them if I can. Damn my diet :P I do love classic mashed potatoes (add some chicken broth and sour cream... yum)
     
    I will take almost any kind of fry really.

    Although I will gladly go for baked potatoes as well. Mashed potatoes I like mostly for nostalgic value (and sometimes ease of making, with the boxed ones and all).

    Oh yeah, and chips. I've even sliced potatoes thin to try to make my own form of chips before. Mmm. Nice easy lunch right there, that was.

    I just don't tend to eat as many potatoes as I used to (barring the fries), since my husband doesn't like/can't stand potatoes. u_u So I'll tend to buy them for myself and then sometimes forget I have them whoops. This had led to things like...me totally forgetting I had boxes of different kind of potatoes (like scalloped and whatnot) in my cupboard lol.

    (They're still up in there btw. I'm too lazy to actually make them up since I realized they would involve baking and other things and yeah forget that.)

    I'm partial to fries and hash browns, myself. I guess baked potatoes are alright.
     
    Twice baked potatoes are beyond good. Must have bacon though!

    Shepard's Pie is also another one people forget about, and arguably the best!
    Essentially take mash potatoes and bake it over ground beef and vegetables so that the potatoes are crisp like a crust.

    Potato flats are a bit different from the often-thought-of restaurant chips that are thin and really crispy and go by the same name sometimes.

    Actual potato flats are potatoes sliced by their length, cut a few millimetres thick, and the deep-fried until golden. They're eaten by hand like fries, and are pretty much just a different shape french fry when you think about it :P

    As much as a pain it was to make pesto baked potatoes, it was well worth the wait when I made them with my boyfriend c: They came out relatively well, probably because I did most of the work while he went late-night grocery shopping, haha. Should have taken a picture, but they were delicious and quite filling. Both of us were already suffering itis from having frozen yogurt not too long before dinner so a number of them went to his room mate who chowed them down.

    We have plans to make mashed potato cakes this weekend so we shall how they turn out. The same day we made pesto baked potatoes, we also made oven roasted ones which were even more painful and did not turn out like we'd hoped...
