I NEED HELP AS A NEWBIE POKEMON CARD COLLECTOR.

So, recently i got the chance to buy real pokemon cards. We cant find real pokemon cards in our country. So, a cousin from london has agreed to get them for me. I dont know what to buy at all. Should i buy an etb or a booster box/bundle. And my budget is only 55$. I just want to know how i can properly utilize this 55$ to get the best starting pack for my collection. I hope yall experts can help me.

So if you would like to go for the most booster pack option, id reccomend getting 2 booster bundles which would equal to 12 boosters, they are around 20-25 usd. Or if you would like to go the elite trainer box option which would cost 30-50 usd. They normally come with 8 boosters but the newer sets come with 10 if i remember right! Hope this helps! <3

If they're relying on a cousin in London they'll sadly be UK prices, and our prices are a little rougher than yours. Booster Bundles are usually £25 here in stores, which comes out around $32.

John Lewis and Smyths right now have them at £20 on a reduced price. There's no Smyths in central London (though a handful in the surrounding boroughs). There is a big John Lewis on Oxford Street though, like one of their flagship stores. So @

it might be best to send your cousin there. Argos are also worth checking out, they usually have fairly regular discounts on cards. You could also ask your cousin to order online from somewhere like https://www.chaoscards.co.uk or https://www.board-game.co.uk, both usually have very competitive pricing, but you'd have to factor in shipping costs with them.
