Here's my idea for the D/P finale.

    Synoposis:

Ash finally wins his way up to his last challenger in the Pokemon League Tournament...Paul! Infernape is eager to defeat his cruel ex-master's Pokemon with all his strength.

The battle begins, and it doesn't look like Ash will avoid losing again when Paul's Electivire takes down Pikachu, Staraptor, and Torterra. Only Infernape is left on the battlefield!

Electivire prepares to send an Earthquake towards the fire monkey, but it easily jumps and dodges, then using Stone Edge to send the Earthquake back at Electivire, taking it down.

Infernape then proceeds to clobber Weavile with a Swords Dance-Close Combat combo, then takes down Ursaring with Close Combat.

Infernape's Defense is insanely low, and it is extremely tired, but it is still determined to face Paul's trumper...Torterra!!

Torterra leads with an attempted Wood Hammer, which hits Infernape hard. After a few more hits, Infernape's HP goes to 0 on the monitor, and Ash thanks Infernape for doing its best.

But then, a surprise happens! Infernape is still willing to fight! As Torterra moves in for a final Stone Edge, Infernape counters with Flare Blitz. The hit is powerful because of the Blaze ability, combined with Infernape's Life Orb item, but it leaves Infernape in critical condition.

Ash begs Infernape to stop, but his Pokemon bravely continues to endeavor. Torterra is almost taken down, and Infernape is determined to win the match for Ash and fulfill his Pokemon Master dream. Using all its strength, it uses a final Flare Blitz, and the stadium fills with light...

When the dust settles, Torterra has fainted, and Infernape is still standing despite its evident pain. Ash has won the tournament, and goes out to the stadium to thank Infernape for giving its all as he and his Pokemon proudly hold the Sinnoh League Champion Trophy.

Meanwhile, Paul, in a dark moment, walks away slowly, as a single tear rolls down his face. From the shadows, a man emerges, and urges his son to join him in a diabolical plot. The man reveals himself to be Cyrus, and Paul gasps...

    Part 2 Coming Soon!

that seems pretty kewl, the ending surprised me (kinda)
although in evry other leage the matchs were 6vs6 not4vs4

Infernape sweeping the entire team? No way the writers wouldn't give Pikachu his overused screen time, so no way would that happen.
    [PokeCommunity.com] Idea for finale Part 1,2, & 3

Yeah, Infernape sweeping an entire team doesn't seem likely. People were annoyed that Charizard managed to knock out 3 of Gary's Pokemon. But the Cyrus/Paul thing seems pretty cool.

    OK! Here's part 2!

Ash & company are in the Pokemon Center, where Infernape is slowly recovering from its hard battling despite its empty HP. When Nurse Joy asks Ash to spend some alone time with Infernape, Ash accepts.

When Ash goes in, he finds his strong powerhouse recovering, while covered in bandages. He recalls of how he first adopted Infernape as a little Chimchar, and raised him to be a strong Pokemon. He explains to Infernape that his relationship with Infernape has raised to the level of caring he has for his most hard-working Pokemon: Charizard, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and many others. But the most important relationship he has is with his Pikachu.

Ash then tells Infernape that all his Pokemon, including him, are special in their unique ways. Giving his fire monkey a hug, Ash gives another big thanks to Infernape, who sheds a tear of happiness.

Meanwhile, we cut to Paul, who is travelling with his evil father to Veilstone City in a helicopter. Paul is aware of what position Cyrus holds, and all the power he has earned by vile means. Cyrus expresses his pleasure for Paul being stroger than his older siblings, wo are the three junior commanders of Team Galactic:

"I'm quite impressed, boy. Your results from your competings in the Pokemon Leagues across the various regions have made it clear that you are powerful beyond belief. I only regret that your older sisters and brother cannot even stand up to your or my level of greatness. Nonetheless, you and those arrogant young oafs will be essential in my plan for a new world."

    -Cyrus

Meanwhile, Ash decides to talk with Professor Rowan alone. He asks how Infernape could manage to keep blasting away the opponents with its Flare Blitz, when the monitor calculated the Pokemon uable to fight. Rowan explains that Infernape and other members of its tribe has an unmeasurable amount of stamina that allows them to fight as hard as they can for as long as possible, though this can put them in critical condition, as was seen following the victory in the League. Ash comes to a epiphany that Infernape must draw its power from its intense belief in Ash, presumably after Paul abadoned it.

Meanwhile, Cyrus arrives back at the lab to find his three older children standing beside three chambers containing Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. The boy, Saturn, sneers that soon the power to cleanse the corrupted world will be in their hands. Saturn hisses that Saturn not be cocky before thigs happen in order, and sets a few dials on the center machine. Then, she pulls down a lever. The three Pokemon cry out in pain, then fall lifeless to the bottoms. A slot opens, and Cyrus picks up a ruby-encrusted chain, smiling darkly...

Ash is having lunch with his friends to celebrate their triumph, when suddenly dark clouds begin forming. Rowan tells the friends that the activity must be happening at Mt. Coronet, and they head off. Team Rocket, curious about the predicament, follow close behind.

At Mt. Coronet, Cyrus, Paul, and his siblings watch as the rune in front of them shines. A roar is heard, and Dialga and Palkia emerge from the middle...

    Here it is! Part 3!

Ash and friends have arrived at the entrance to Mt. Coronet. Professor Rowan concludes that the strange happenings appear to be the work of Team Galactic, who has been interested in the balance of time and balance in the Pokemon world. They begin their trek up the mountain to stop the villains.

Meanwhile, Cyrus explains to Paul his intentions to destroy the universe and create a pure one, where Team Galactic is a deity and Paul is a commander. Paul then remembers that he ran from home to chart his own course away from Cyrus, and bitterly snaps he wanted his own destiny as a famed person. Cyrus sneers that Paul will find no such things without his help, and Paul consents.

While climbing up Mt. Coronet, which is very snowy. Professor Rowan then informs everyone that Paul is none other then the son of Team Galactic's leader, the evil Cyrus of Sunyshore City. Cyrus had a terible childhood, and as a result, wanted to cleanse the world of darkness and take control. Rowan recounts of when he first met Paul. He was easily able to distinguish Paul by his odd-colored hair and a hidden Galactic insigma inside his blue jacket.

When Ash and friends come to the top, they see Dialga and Palkia being held captive by the three commanders. A fight begins. Ash battles Saturn, Dawn battles Mars, and Brock battles Jupiter. Rowan shows off his cool skills by weilding his Lucario and Staraptor against Paul and Cyrus.

Eventually, the Galactics are defeated, and Dialga and Palkia are freed. Palkia flees, but Dialga decides to travel with Ash.

hmm intersting, but it would be funny if brock get crushed (since he sucks) and some1 saves him...

Pfft. Ash is too retarded to handle a Legendary, much less frickin' Dialga.

Also, Palkia and Dialga were covered in Movie 10, so there's no reason for the two to appear in the anime.

Well, Groudon appeared in Movie 6, but he got his own eppie with Kyogre.

Besides, I think it'd be cool to have the deity of time on our lil' Satoshi's team. Think about it. It could be a powerhouse in battles.

Why was this moved to fan fiction?? This is about the TV series.

Well, what kind of message would that send to kids? That it's OKAY to use ubers in battle? No way. And Dialga, a powerhouse? No, he's more like a miniature apocalypse.

It may concern the TV series, but frankly, it reads like average fan fiction.

Well, it's okay to use ubers in the Pokemon League, just not in the Battle Tower. And since the Battle Tower was covered in Movie 7 and the Battle Frontier series, there should be no problem with Dialga sticking through the Battle Area.

But in the anime canon, the Legendaries are too uber-special to be captured by humans. Sure, they might be captured if one has the correct technology that's more than the average Pokeball. Still, these beasts have special powers that might disrupt the balance of the world if they are captured.

Take a look at the second movie. Only Zapdos and Moltres were captured. And the world was nearly destroyed. If a Legendary with the powers to create time itself is taken out of the world, then there's danger, Ash Ketchum. Serious danger.

Besides, why would Dialga chose to join Ash on his adventures to become a Pokemon Master? Ash met many other Legendaries and helped to save them and they just up and left him. (Mewtwo, who found Ash to be the only human trust-worthy, even picked personal freedom than a life lost in the woods with three/four kids who can't find food on their own.)

Anime!canon does not equal (=/=) game!canon. The Pokemon League in the games is battling the Elite Four in a row with no spectators. The Pokemon League in the anime is a round-robin/elimination tournament with a large audience and broadcast on television. I think someone in the world of anime!Pokemon would have a problem if Dialga, the "god" of time, is under the control of some kid who only wants to be the best trainer ever. It would be the same thing with the Battle Arena. Someone's bound to have some problem finding Dialga being treated as a normal Pokemon.

Your main problem with this is the fact that Dialga joins Ash's team. Now you can see why adding a Legendary, especially one as powerful as Dialga, is a problem in fanfiction. Depending on what canon you follow, your character might have trouble with capturing Legendaries. (Game canon, I'll give that to you. But that's the games. You are writing for the animeverse.) Just forget that part and it'll make a pretty interesting story.

I suggest that since you're waiting for PMD2 to come out, to actually try to write this as a real story, with dialogue, narration, and more substance to it than just a summary. You put a lot of thought into this, so why not try it?

Brandon says "Hi". He caught all 3 of the Regis using a regular old Pokeball, and the world seemed pretty okay regerdless. XD

This fic seems ok now, but its clear that you're in favor of the good guys.
Have the bad guys get a big advantage.
    It adds suspence

Very true. But Zapdos and Moltres weren't captured properly. They were simply contained in electric balls instead of proper Poke Ball tradition. When a Pokemon is contained in a Poke Ball, then its nature becomes tame.

And I might put this into fanfic form. Thanks, Hanako.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to agree with Hanako on this one. Whether or not it is captured the traditional way or not, the Pokemon are still unable to perform their jobs of balancing the Earth's weather (I'm guess that's what they do because of the 2nd movie). Also, no where does it say that Pokeballs automatically tame Pokemon. That'd just make them mindless drones, which is another big no-no in fics.

I fully understand that the wait for PMD2 is too long, but why not try to write a fic straight from your imagination? I know from experience that it's an easy way to improve on description and also, your not restricted to canon/game rules (mostly).

Brandon says "Hi". He caught all 3 of the Regis using a regular old Pokeball, and the world seemed pretty okay regerdless. XD
The Regis being not that spectacular say "We don't do anything important except waste space". Regigigas I might argue about, but the Regis are just hunks of minerals that don't do anything, and Regigigas really doesn't do anything in the present day, unless it does so really really slowly. Dialga, on the other hand, controls time, which isn't something I would want to screw around with.

Very true. But Zapdos and Moltres weren't captured properly. They were simply contained in electric balls instead of proper Poke Ball tradition. When a Pokemon is contained in a Poke Ball, then its nature becomes tame.
Actually, just because you capture a Pokemon in a Pokeball doesn't mean that the Pokemon becomes "tame". Generally, this is true, but take a look at Charizard. It went from being tame to just plain ignoring its trainer upon evolution. And it was in a Pokeball. So there's still a lot of work involved in taming a Pokemon other than just cramming it into a ball.

Some people might feel intimidated to create an entire world with all new characters. I know that I feel that way. That's why some people just write fanfiction because they work within a set world with set rules, which has the extra challenge of following those set rules while still letting your imagination roam. Plus, they can explore what they want to explore in the canon world, like jb0000612 wanting to see what the world would be like if Paul was Cyrus's son.
