Idea for Future Games

Hey everyone!!!
I just wanted to get an overall opinion on an idea for future games.
I don't have much except for the beginning of the story and a few ideas here and there, but I'd really like to know what other people think of it.
You start in a brand new region, and you go out to run an errand and see this woman on the ground. She appears to be unconscious so you go over to her and help. She thanks you and tells you she is the Professor of that region. She brings you to her Lab and gives you your Pokemon. She sends you back to tell your mom and when you go back she says she must tell you something. She is actually a psychic, thousands of years old, and that she would like to take you back in time to see what the region was like when she first explored it, many years ago.
I thought that because it would take place so long ago that it would be a good idea to make most available Pokemon ones that have since become extinct. I figured it would be cool to actually be able to catch wild Fossil Pokemon, and others like Unown, Sigilyph, and Relicanth that are or seem ancient could be very common.
That's it. Sorry for the long explanation, but I just wanted to communicate every idea I had. I would really appreciate feedback!

I also think time traveling in a main Pokemon game would be awesome. Imagine playing in the past and present omg 8)

I would imagine a Team (called Team Past? Idk lol) where they travel back in time using this legendary pokemon who has the power to time travel (Celebi?) to rule over the past with their latest technology (Master balls,Full Restores, etc ). And then I dunno, maybe they would sell it for 1,000,000 pokedollars to become rich and powerful?

I'm actually really liking this idea! I would find it really amazing if you can find a way to implement time travel even more, like have the protagonist/evil team travel back and forth in time so the adventure can be in both the past and present (maybe even the future?).

That would be certainly interesting! Bunch of things to consider though such as Poke Balls (if you believe Kurt from Johto, Apricorn balls were what they used back in his day), the lack of a PC storage system, Pokemon such as Porygon wouldn't exist without being brought from the future, and so forth. It'd certainly have to be a different take on matters. Which is partly what makes it an interesting idea to be honest, haha - seeing a different portrayal of the Pokemon world. Kinda why I like Orre as a setting in Colosseum and XD after all.
