If you could have dinner with any single 1 gym leader from any game, who would it be and why?

    this question just popped into my head while watching videos about american politics, people always ask what president or rich person they'd have dinner with, so im wondering out of all the generations, which gym leader you would like to sit down and eat with (and why)

    for me personally, i think i'd like to sit down and talk to a leader with a very strange gym like Volkner (this is off the top of my head, im aware theres weirder) to try and figure out how and why his gym is designed like that.
     
    I mean the easy answer is Elisa, as she was my first game crush as a kid. but outside of that I think Katy from Scarlet and Violet. Like her, I love how bug types have gotten better over the years and was upset that hers were so weak. I loved her conviction after her rematch to become a stronger Gym Leader using better pokemon and not caring if people went home crying. I'd love to talk to her about that.
     
    There is no 'absolute best pick has to be this person!!!' for me, some of the ones I can think of who I'd probably enjoy just getting to chat with in a casual dinner setting would be Cress or Cilan, Skyla, Blaine, Major Bob (look it up), Ryme, Marnie, or Allister. Any of these stick out as someone who'd either have nice stories to tell, a friendly demeanor to chat with, or in the case of Marnie, someone who can give her some proper Dark type advice LOL.

    I guess if I had to pick one specifically, it would be... Ryme honestly. I just think I'd get along with her personality well and I think she'd appreciate that.
     
    If it's just to have fun and a chat I'd go with either Wattson, Olympia or Melony I guess.
    Wattson because he just seems fun to hang with, Olympia because she's just stylish and mysterious, and Melony because of her exquisite taste in Pokemon types (and not being either as intimidating or young as the other Ice type specialists). ❄️
     
    Wallace. I would get to travel to the breathtaking Sootopolis city and admire the architecture, experiencing such a unique view of Hoenn's oceans for dinner. It would be like a visit to Kyushu Japan and Santorini Greece rolled into one.

    Since Milotic is my favorite Hoenn pokemon, and we are both Milotic trainers, it would be a missed opportunity not to see Wallace's Milotic up close as well, and see how it compares with some of my own. I don't see why we couldn't have a friendly battle after dinner.

    Wallace also is clearly a man of culture that I would be able to talk about art and entertainment with at the dinner table, maybe secure some tickets to Lilycove from for a night on the town to see the latest concerts, meet his niece Lysa and her Altaria.

    Most importantly though, Wallace is a friend of Steven's, so I would be firing off questions left and right about the champion, and ask if I can be invited back when he comes over.
     
    This is a really tough choice, but I'd probably go with Candice since Snowpoint City seems like a really charming place to eat, and I'd love to have a fiery discussion with her about Ice types (my favorite type).
