Imagine you're locked in a room for 36 hours and didn't need to eat or use the bathroom with a gameboy color/gameboy advanced and g/s/c with unlimited batteries and played it constantly. How far do you think you would get?? If you think you would beat it, how much would you get the Pokédex completed?? What about with r/b/y?? How many Lvl. 80+ Pokémon would you have?? How many 100's?? Also, it's a fully-functioning hack that lets you catch all of the Pokémon.

G/S/C: I would probably beat it and get at least half of the Pokédex done. At least 8 80+ and at least 5 100's.
R/B/Y: I would probably beat it and have a 6/7ths of the way Pokédex. At least 10 80+ and at least 6-7 100's.

I would probably have halfway beaten it. I've done very similar, lol. I wouldn't mind being locked up with my Crystal version. But I am not so worried about the PokeDex. I like the game itself, the storyline. So my PokeDex wouldn't be so well, but the game itself would be almost finished if not totally. I would have a few level 100's, but they would be on my main team.
With R/S/E... Not very far. I guess about part of the Pokedex. Maybe beaten. Maybe one level 100. I wouldn't be nearly as successful as I would with Crystal.

I'm not sure exactly, but I think it would be like that.

i think i wouldn't get half of the way, i can easily get bore so spend constantly 36 hours for pokemon game, no, definitely no, i would throw gb/gba away and sleep

That's exactly what happens to me. I could never play for 36 hours straight or even play for more than maybe 2 hours. I get so bored after a while. I would just take a nap. Maybe I'd make it a little past Goldenrod or just past Vermilion if I was playing r/b/y.

I would have beat the game, however my Pokédex would be pretty empty. I focus on team-raisinf before the Pokédex hits me.

Seeing as I've actually once played Silver for 32 hours in a row (16 hours over two days, I'm not kidding XD) I know I would get as far as the E4 with a team of 60's. I take my time. XD

Maybe after beating Lance or Steven, I would get a nice nap to end my day....

I just cannot find myself playing a Pokemon cartridge for 36 hours.

I know I'd get done the storyline and I love going around catching Pokemon. I don't think I'd have many high levels, but I'd have high enough levels to beat whatever I need... so probably just a lot of 80s.

I don't like catching a Pokemon's evolved stage and second evolved stage separately, I actually like to catch the first stage and evolve it all the way up. So that's why I'd have a lot of higher leveled Pokemon but no 100s.

You have unlimited batteries but you still have to change them right? I'd get as far as getting the starter pokemon. Why? Well I'd get pretty far into the game and then the batteries would die at which time I realize I never saved once. Why not? I'm stuck in a room for 36 hours and there's no need to stop until then why would I need to save? I only save once I'm done playing so I'd restart the game and get the starter and then I'd get frustrated about having to go through the story again so I'd just leave it and go to a corner and pout.

I beat Diamond in 30 hours.

I think I could beat this in under that.

oh man, 36 hours? well, if i had 36 hours on my hands and only a copy of crystal to play, i'd have one level 100 noctowl and would have beaten red 2 or 3 times. i would refuse to play any first generation game that long though :X

I normally speed through the Pokémon games, I'd probably get right round to beating Red, and spend the rest of my time training at Mt. Silver. I don't think I'd get too far in the Pokédex though, I have the habit of just catching Pokémon I like or Pokémon that look useful, such as high levels or HM slaves.

I would've probably beat it 3/4 of the way or be to Mt. Silver, depending on how long I do the unneccessary activities(evolving togepi). On red I would've beaten it with a Mew, a Mewtwo, and 9 lvl.100 Raticates for the heck of it...

sorry also you didnt take into consideration sleep
    (just had to say it)

Probably have five or six gyms, because I have this habit of level grinding on almost every route. I tend to progress through the games rather slowly :p

Oh, I do that as well! I'm better with obsessive level grinding now. When I was younger, I was ridiculously patient, so I could spent hours just beating away the wild Pokemon and end up being 20+ levels above the gym leaders.

I don't care about the Pokedex or getting 100s, and I've never tried to see how long it would take. Taking that into consideration, I'd probably have beaten Red or be at least very close to him. When I first beat Red, I didn't even really grind that much to level up. I got everyone up to Level 60 or 65 or so, so I only had to get up about 3 or 4 levels on my entire team. So, I probably wouldn't spend too much time grinding.

Oh wait, I forgot about R/B/Y. I don't know it as well as G/S/C, and I'd probably get lost in the Seafoam Islands or the Silph Co. Building, so it would probably take longer for me to reach the end. I'd still probably make it and beat it, though.

Then again, I probably wouldn't play for 36 hours. I'd just sleep for a few.

I would probably - like most others - reach about halfway or more through the game,mI have spent about 1 -2 hours pliyng the game but thats the max for me, becuase I either get sick fo it or watch tv.. lolz or most ikely have to go somewhere...

    I couldn't possible play a pokemon game for 36 hours ಠ_ಠ

I'd probably get like, to the second gym, discover my pokemon are WAYYYY underleveled, try to train
then get bored and go to sleep

Most of my games are 50-something hours by the time I reach the Elite Four, and I've never endeavoured to fill the Pokedex.
S'pose I'd get halfway and the highest level maybe sixty.
