    Yeah, this is reason to celebrate, so I thought I'd post here. I'm now officially an uncle for the first time. My brother's girlfriend gave birth on Tuesday this week, to a healthy baby girl. She's 7 lbs 10 oz, which is a good weight, and they've decided to call her Olivia, which I think is a sweet name.

    So, me's got a reason to be happy.

    Awww, congrats! I'm already an uncle for 2 years and 1 month xD. My sis gave birth to a healthy boy 2 years ago, I was 12, she was 18, yeh, quite young but hey, it was her decision.

    Dude, that's awesome! YOu better be one of the cool uncles that go, "I found a quarter in your ear."

    Good luck, and enjoy being an uncle while you can. Soon you'll be a great-uncle, so enjoy the young years while you can.

    I don't have any siblings, but my cousin (who is the closest I'll have to a sister) has a couple of kids. I don't get to see them that often, though, as they live kind of far away.
