4th Gen Import Question

Hey all, I was wondering if someone could help me out with something. I'm considering importing HG, and I wasn't sure what effect this would have on special events. Living in NZ, would I still have access to my local events, or would this not work due to the foreign game? And if that's the case, would I be able to access the American events? This will have a big effect on whether or no I do import, and any help would be much appreciated.

Considering the New Zealand release is only less that two weeks from the US release of the games (March 25th), then I would suggest waiting and saving the extra money until the game is released near you. Usually, the games are set to only access their respective region's events. Hence why the US games can never take part in the Japanese or any other area's event but their own. So, if you import the US version then you'll only be able to access the US' Wi-Fi events, but not those held for New Zealand. Again though, because the release for the games in New Zealand isn't too distant from that of the US, I would just hang tight for the short time until it's released in your country. :) Hope this gives you a pretty rough idea on what you may decide on doing.

Anyways, answered, so going to close - up to you if you'll import or wait and buy, really. Each person will advise his or her own way, so there's no real definite answer.
