Inner Focus + Focus Punch

Anyone know if this would work? Inner Focus is a Special Ability that prevents you from flinching ... but I'm not sure if it would work with Focus Punch. If it did work it would be teh ub4r

Yes Kairi is right, but here's the technicalities to why it doesn't work out.

When focus punch's focus is broken, it doesn't say "________ flinched" only, but also got the "_________ lost its focus" thingie. So say the opponent used Fake Out to hit you the turn you are using focus punch. The flinch is canncelled with the ability, but the focus attack still missed because the user of focus punch got damaged.

You can get toxiced, get t-waved, get confuse ray-ed and anything else during the turn of focus punch. As long as you didn't get directly damaged, focus punch will come through.
