If you're not sure what this is exactly, Worlds is an in-person Pokémon esports event where fans can participate in a lot of Pokémon-related competitions; this involves Pokémon GO battles, battling in the main series, TCG competitions, etc. There is even exclusive merchandise being sold!

This year's Worlds was held in Hawaii and had a cute scuba diver Pikachu as its mascot. Did you go, or did you want to go? Have you ever been to Worlds?

I've never been to Worlds but I'd love to go, it seems like a really good chance to hang out with fellow Pokemon fans and snag some exclusive merch like you mentioned. I do find it a bit odd how it's been hosted in the US 80%+ of the time though, not even being in Japan until 2023 despite both GF/Nintendo being Japanese companies and Japan tending to get the lions share of cool stuff like this.

Never went to Worlds and is not interested to attend. Dislikes traveling in general. Pays only passing attention to competitive Pokemon. Would not overly care to join any pickup games or hunt for merchandise either.

My main thought about Worlds is I wish they didn't make the merch exclusive to it. It was such a pain to get merch of last year's Sprigatito with the Cherrim hairpin from Yokohama Worlds and it probably just encourages scalping. :'(
