Is battle revolution worth it?

    I just got a wii and I would like to know if it is worth it, I have platinum and pearl, and I will be buying hg or ss, but I don't usually do very competitive battling unless there is a point(money or items so I can train my pokémon) I am thinking about getting ranch for storage too, is it worth the 10$?
     
    If you have played Pokemon Stadium, you'll be disappointed by the lack of Mini games and Gym Leader Castle, but it does offer Wi-Fi battling, customizable trainer, and good graphics.

    Features:
    Special Battles
    Play-by-Play Commentary
    Customizable Trainer
    Wi-Fi Battling
    Transferable Items
    Compatible with D/P/Pt/HG/SS
    Surfing Pikachu as prize for beating game

    Disappointments:
    No Mini-games
    No Gym Leader Castle
    Pokemon can't level up
    No Platinum or HG/SS only formes

    But if you ask me it is a good game all-in-all, but on Wi-Fi for a little bit (until your wins get higher) you'll be fighting a bunch of noobs with legendary Pokemon and hacked Pokemon.
     
    I am disappointed at the fact of no leveling up, but what are special battles?
    And what do you mean by No Platinum or HG/SS only formes, like rotom stays normal rotom?
     
    Good game? One of the worst games I spent $50 on. Battles get extremely monotonous and boring and the payout isn't even all that worth it. Wi-fi is sloooooooooooooooow and you can't even use all 6 Pokemon when battling random people.

    Just wait for Nintendo to fix their mistake with the next console game for the main Pokemon series (if they make one).



    Ranch is kay. Convenient if you need the space, but not worth the 1000 Wii points IMO.
     
    The sims has no story line but its still a good game, your post doesnt supply much information.
     
    Just read up on Bulbapedia and/or message one of the members that posted here for further opinions. There doesn't need to be a thread about it.
