Okay so I bought Crystal brand new never even played it all the way through... I sold it to a friend who said it wouldn't save so I bought it back from him (I guaranteed it would work) I put it in my Game Boy Color.... it will save perfectly fine every time.... well I put it in my Game Boy Advance and it deletes the save file.... he played it in his GBA SP.... he has a Game Boy Color but he didn't put it in that.... has anyone else had this problem or is it just a problem with my game and what can be causing it?

uhh... well, your internal battery is dead... unless you manually replace the battery, use it in an SP to keep the save file.

Well that's quite odd. My guess is that it would be a glitch with the internal clock battery which is connected to the save file. The thing is, most times the internal clock battery messes up (which happens ALOT with G/S/C systems) it will make it to where it doesn't matter what system you use, it will still glitch up. The only thing you could do to stop the problem with the GBA save is replace the clock battery, which most Game Stores will do for a minor fee. By doing this though, you'll lose your current save file completely, and have to start over again.

    Hope this helps!

    With all regards,

hmm... he's probably right, usually people have the battery die on them and lose their save file because of that. then again, the battery for your crystal is probably about 9-10 years old, and hence would be acting up by now.

Also With a saudering tool you can fix your g/s/c yourself.

I've got a friend, shes a MASTER at fixing her piles of g/s games. She never ended up with a crystal just 3 silvers and 2 golds i believe 0.0
