I was playing a battle on the wifi once. After I had stopped I noticed that my Pal pad had been entirely erased and that my own friend code had changed somehow.
Which is pretty rediculous if you ask me. If it can store Internet settings and stuff, why doesn't it store other things? Like the friend code could be stored in the DS itself instead of the DS/cart combo. That'd make it easier because then you'd only have to register once, and you're set for life. Or your DS's life if you should outlive it.Yeah. The DS is what keeps track of your Internet Stuff. Better only use One DS per Cart.
But Nintendo's pretty new to the online scene, so can we blame them?
diamond and pearl was relased in april 07Nintendo is not new to the online scene if you ask me, because the first game to have Wifi was Mario Kart, and that was way back in 2005. D/P was released in late 2006, and thats a 1 year difference, so I don't really think so.
