4th Gen Is this Raikou hacked?

I got a Raikou that says "Hoenn, arrived at level 50" or whatever... Now, is there any way to make sure if it's legit? I mean.. It IS level 50, the level you catch Raikou.. Could it be perhaps that the person had the Raikou in his emerald version when he transfered to his D/P? Which is why it says Hoenn and not Kanto?

It's a level 50 Raikou, seems pretty normal to me, except that.. It says "sent from Hoenn", as far as I know, there's no way to tell where it was cought in the 3rd gen, since it's already in the 4th gen cartidge.

I know you catch the dogs in Kanto, or in Pokemon Coleseum, but like I said, it says it was sent from Hoenn, not Kanto, not Coleseum.

The IVs are pretty normal, doesn't seem hacked. It's not shiny or anything, but I am just doubting wether it's hacked or not.

I heard someone say that even if it was in Emerald when sent to DP, it should still say "Kanto" because it was orignally cought in FR/LF.

Anyone know of a way to verify this?

Probably not hacked, my guess

Its only true its definitely hacked if it knows moves like "Fissure", or anything it is incapable of learning, or anything obvious

It's hacked, I have plenty of pokemon that I caught in my FireRed and I transfered to Emerald and I pal park them over to my Pearl all the time. Flareon, Blastoise, Alakazam, Sceptile, Arbok, and my Raikou too says it... Kanto. I don't ever pal park from FR/LG now since they belong to my brother now and I have the Hoenn games. :P

I see, what about transfering from Coleseum? What land is that?

IVs are 17/7/6/16/2/27

My Suicune says "Distant Land"... and that is for any XD pokemon as well. I guess someone just hacked Raikou to appear in the grass and raised it to 50 since those IVs are normal.

It seems to have been hacked into R/S/E, it is cought on a Master Ball, which I believe it does not exist on Coleseum. Normal IVs though... Should I use it? I am not sure, I don't like hacked pokemon, but I really did want a Timid Raikou and this one seems pretty fine.

I am thinking about using it anyway.

Don't. If it's hacked people won't like you using it, and it won't be eligible for official competition anyways.
