I went to the JAA, got far enough, but unfortunately lost. But with bad news comes good news. I learned what was wrong with my team and some things on how to improve. I'm going to another JAA so I have another shot at it. So here is what I'm thinking for my new team.

    Mewtwo@Focus Band
    Nature: Timid/Modest Ability: Pressure
    EVs: Speed 252 Sp.Att252 SpDf4
    Psychic
    Flamethrower
    Recover
    Ice Beam

I need help with knowing which nature I want. Modest decreases attack, which to Mewtwo is useless, and increases Sp.Att. which can be useful. But I really like speed because I've found that attacking first is a big help, so I'm also going for Timid which decreases attack and raises speed. Flamethrower works well against all the Shiftry and Metagross, and Ice Beam helps with Lati@s and Rayquaza.

    Kyogre@ScopeLens
    Nature:Timid/Modest Ability: Drizzle
    EVs: Speed252 SpAtt128 HP 124
    Calm Mind
    Thunder
    Ice Beam
    Surf

Just like Mewtwo I don't know which nature I should go for. I divided up the EVs between HP and Special Attack because SpAtt isn't needed as much because of Calm Mind, but sometimes there isn't enough time to use it, so the EVs help. Also, should I use Surf or Waterfall? Surfs power is lowered because it's a 2-on-2 battle, and most of the time Surf is only needed against one Pokemon. Then again, the main Pokemon that Surf is needed for is Groudon, and an Ice Beam takes care of him.

    Zapdos@SalacBerry
    Nature: Timid/Modest Ability: Pressure
    EVs: Speed 252 SpAtt252 SpDf4
    Thunder
    Light Screen
    Protect
    Drill Peck

Nature has the same problem as the first two. Most Pokemon are Special Attackers so Light Screen helps a lot. Protect helps me when I'm about to die, or just when I want to avoid an Ice Beam or Rock Slide. Drill Peck is useful against all the Shiftrys. Salac Berry also helped me during the tournament. (Increases Speed when HP is low.)

    Rayquaza@Shell Bell
    Nature: Jolly/Adamant Ability: Air Lock
    EVs: Speed 252 Attack 252 HP4
    Extremespeed
    Protect
    Aerial Ace/ Dragon Claw
    Earthquake/Ice Beam

Same problem with natures. Should I go with Speed increase, or Attack increase? The last 4 EVs were put in HP because they wont do much anywhere else. I don't need Special Attack, and for Special Defense it's main use would be against Ice Beam, but 2 EVs in Ice Beam probably aren't going to save me. I have protect just in case there's someone out with Ice Beam. The move set is its old set, but I didn't find it very useful. Aerial Ace isn't needed, and Earthquake isn't useful either against most of the Pokemon everyone uses at JAA. Ice Beam could be a lot better for all the flying types used, and Dragon Claw cause a lot more damage when needed. It's not affective against Steel types, and the only steel type I saw at the tournament was metagross, and I only saw it once. There's also Outrage, but it attacks randomly and confuses you, and I don't want to replace my Shell Bell with a Confusion-healing berry.

    Snorlax@Chesto Berry
    Nature: ??? Ability: Thick Fat
    EV's HP 252 Attack 252 SpDef 4
    Shadow Ball
    Rest
    Ice Beam
    Thunder

This Pokemon might not be too good. It's replacing Groudon since I found it to be useless. There was almost nobody at all with a Fighting type Pokemon or Attack, so he almost has no weakness. Shadow Ball is directed at mainly Mewtwo since it's sometimes hard to get rid of it. Ice Beam is for all the flying types (there are a lot), and shifrtys. Thunder is mostly an extra to see if I get lucky and need it sometime. His speed is low so I'm wasting no EVs on that. Nature help again! I'm increasing its attack, but what should I let decrease? Special Attack, Speed, Defense, or Special Defense? I don't want Snorlax to have the Immunity ability since people very very rarely poison.

    Kingdra@Lum Berry
    Nature: Timid Ability: Swift Swim
    Evs: Speed 252 SpAttack 252 SpDf4
    Toxic
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Protect

I find this guy to be useless. I need something to replace it with. I was thinking shiftry even though he has a lot of weaknesses. The shiftry would probably have Fake Out, since I saw a lot of people use it and it worked for them. Timid is to increase its speed and decrease attack since it doesn't need attack. I'm probably not going to use him, so I'm mostly looking for someone to replace him. It could be fast in rain with Kyogre, but he wouldn't be the greatest help against all of the other Pokemon.

Protect isn't that good of a good move when you think about it.

    Mewtwo@Focus Band
    Nature: Modest Ability: Pressure
    EVs: Speed 252 Sp.Att252 SpDf4
    Calm Mind
    Flamethrower
    Thunder
    Ice Beam

Go with Modest, it'll help with all the high Sp Def ubers like Lugia, besides Mewtwo is fast enough. This set up looks awkward, but works well in ubers. Psychic isn't as great since most are resistant to Psychic anyway. You got Thunder for Kyogre, Flamethrower if you can predict a Groudon switch and handles Steels, Shedinja and Grasses, and Ice Beam for the Lati@s etc. Calm Mind helps to boost your already significant Sp Att if you think you can get away with it.

    Kyogre@ScopeLens
    Nature:Modest Ability: Drizzle
    EVs: Speed252 SpAtt128 HP 124
    Calm Mind
    Thunder
    Ice Beam
    Surf/Waterfall/Hydro Pump

Again, Modest is the order of the day. If you want more power from a STAB Water attack, Hydro Pump is there, although Pressure doesn't help it last very long. Waterfall is an option if you want concentrated damage against one opponent, rather than Surf which splits the damage.

    Zapdos@SalacBerry
    Nature: Timid Ability: Pressure
    EVs: Speed 252 SpAtt252 SpDf4
    Thunder
    Light Screen
    Protect
    Drill Peck

Looks reasonably fine to me. I'd rather have a bit more Sp Def but Zapdos is fast enough to pull off LS. Go Timid with this one.

    Rayquaza@Shell Bell/Choice Band
    Nature: Adamant Ability: Air Lock
    EVs: Speed 252 Attack 252 HP4
    Extremespeed
    Protect/Rock Slide
    Aerial Ace
    Earthquake

I'd go Adamant and give Rayquaza a Choice Band. Extremespeed + CB = gg from 33%-50% damage and maybe higher, and that's significant especially in ubers. I'd stick with AA and Earthquake, since you're reducing Sp Att anyway, Dragon Claw and IB isn't gonna hurt that much, besides both moves get the boost from Choice Band. If you're using a Choice Bander, Rock Slide can be useful for the flinchax, but suffers the same problem as Surf. (split damage)

    Snorlax@Chesto Berry
    Nature: Sassy Ability: Thick Fat
    EV: 212 HP/172 Att/68 Sp Att/68 Sp Def
    Shadow Ball
    Rest
    Amnesia/Fire Blast/Ice Beam/Earthquake
    Return/Body Slam

Snorlax is surprisingly more useful than I first thought in ubers. High Sp Def and HP, decent Att and can use a wide variety of moves. Thick Fat is also great if you can predict a Fire or Ice move. You got enough things to deal with Kyogre so I suggest a STAB move, Return or Body Slam for the Paralyse hax. I normally wouldn't suggest Amnesia for Snorlax, but he might need it for the amount of high Sp Att ubers and those with Calm Mind. If you're not using a Sp Att move, shift those Sp Att EV over to Att or Sp Def. Sassy nature (+ Sp Def, - Speed), or Careful (+ Sp Def, - Sp Att) with no Special Attacks.

    Kingdra@Lum Berry
    Nature: Modest Ability: Swift Swim
EV: 252 Sp Att, 6 Speed, 252 Sp Def
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Protect
    Toxic

Kingdra doesn't need much speed since Swift Swim makes him faster than most things around. Toxistalling isn't as great in 2 v 2 (hey, it's not so great in 1 v 1), but can cause a surprise, I suppose. Use that Dragon type and pick your resistances wisely, remember he has a 4 x Water resistance if that helps you take on other Kyogres. Play a bit defensively with this one.

Overall, your team is reasonably balanced. The Snorlax I've suggested is a bit theoritical, could work in practise although physical attackers like Groudon and Rayquaza give him trouble, although there's enough in your team to take them on.

Please dont triple post. You can edit your old ones. The fact that no1 is rating your team is because (well for me anyway) the first rate covered it all. Although putting in someone like Lugia gives u much bigger defensive capabilities which u need, I cant say much more since i dont fully understand JAA -_-"

Heh, don't throw a hissy fit just because you're impatient.

Do us all a favour, read the rules of the forum before you post. And I was friendly enough to make a rate and help with your team, surely one good rate is enough for you. And we all have lives you know, and don't hang on your every word and want to instantly reply when someone demands it.

Learn a bit of humility and patience, is my point. You got a few good suggestions there, go with them and stop being self-centered.

Corrosiwatt, you're spamming the whole page. Besides, Protect eventually fails. You're better off with Fly then Protect on Rayquaza.

Man have we ever heard that before.... Well we cant say your lying so knock urself out...

Its such an orginal excuse that you can never tell if anyone's telling the truth.

Anyway, I wouldn't go with Modest or Timid on Zapdos. I'd pick a neutral nature like Bashful.
