That shouldn't happen at all.. I tested it on all the browsers, and it shouldn't happen..

anywayz, the top banner is cute ^^ but i think the way that the updates image overlaps the banner looks a bit strange ^^;
also, i think that, since you have quite a narrow news section, you should add a subtle patterned background, rather than just the plain green

More layout enhancements are being worked on this weekend, as long it's X(html) Valid. =p

More content and staff are going to be hired/worked on.

The layout's a bit cramped, and I'm still not big on the lime green. I'd suggest you align right everything on the right-hand nav bar.

I like the seasonal layout a lot ^^ The banner's really nice too.
But as JA said, the links are almost spilling into the content area. Maybe you could make some space in between the two columns and the new columns. It will look neater, I think.

expanding the Nav Bars require the adjustment of the section pictures. ~_~
