So, in celebration for Pokemon's 10th anniversary, the Journey Across America Tour is looking to be a pretty righteous event this year. This thread is for anyone who might have questions about the tour, or for anyone to share their tour experiences. Please, keep it clean and friendly.
    A few questions:

I have never been to one of these and I hear that there will be stations to download rare Pokemon like Celebi onto your game. Well, that's great and all, but what do I need to bring with me?

Will I be able to download them with my Micro, or should I bring my SP?

Do you connect to another Gameboy to download, or do you hook up to a GameCube like you did to get Jirachi with the Pokemon Coliseum bonus disc?

Also, which games are they available for download on?

If anyone would be able to answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Answer 1: To be safe....bring your SP.
Answer 2: Your gameboy is connected to the gameboy of a staff, who uploads the chosen Pokemon.
Answer 3: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen.

Do you know where I can get a tour list? I'm wondering if they will be near me soon..

Aghhh they were right near me this weekend and I MISSED IT!

I already went to the one in Kansas way back in May.
That was good times. x3 I wanna go again next year...
Hopefully the next Pokemon event will come Kansas again... ^^

I went to the Raleigh one, and it was awesome!

Well, see, you have to wait inline to get downloads, and can four each time. I waited in line 4 times, and got 17 downloads (including Celebii, which is a different line).

I recomend you wear a backpack, I got a lot of stuff, and had to bring some stuff, so you deffinatley wanna wear one.

I think they allow micros, but go by what Drew said, be safe and bring your SP. And bring every Pokemon game you own, I got to get Celebi on every single on of my Advance games.

Heh, it's kinda funny the way they did it, if you look at the Celebi's stats, it's OT is "10ANIV" and their trainer number is "00010"

Yeah...I noticed that about Celebi. Its amusing, really...
Hey the backpack is a good idea CopyCat. I didn't brong one, so I ended up carrying bags, and my game system.
