What type of move is leer? It lowers the Defense but which statistic determines how powerful the move will be? Is it just a normal attack? Special Attack? what?

lol... Kwesi posting in Gameboy...? *gasp* Oh my the sky is falling! ;p

leer lowers the opponent's defense. It is classified as a normal move but it doesn't really have the "normal" property (it can hit ghosts). It lowers the opponent's defense by one stage. You can lower/raise a stats' stages up to 6 times (so it's 6 stages up or down in stats). Not sure if RS still goes by the same scale, but your stats are pretty much divided by half if your stats are lowered by 6 stage (or raised by a bonus 50% if you got a 6 stage buff), so you can do the math then. Leer is certainly not a usable move but some other buffs/debuffs are certainly tide-turners.

Thanks for that frostweaver, heh, you should be more surprised that I'm posting at all rather than me simply posting here. I have another question for any who are willing to answer.

Is it the attacks you have your pok?mon use that determine which of the five statistics are increased or is it the opponent pok?mon?

no... didn't you say that you got something similar to 20 days of free time to be spent on PC? ^_^
Normally you hardly post but then I'm seeing posts from you now and then during this holiday which is good... you should take a peek at your loving (and semi-insane) community now and then ^_^
