License anyone?

I have a state driver's license, if that's what you are referring to. I have to get mine renewed on my twenty-first birthday, which is this coming September.

I do. Just got one 3 months ago. Though I have not gotten my state ID yet.....really need to work on getting one...

Yeah, I remember looking forward to being able to drive when I was younger. However, it's ultimately a test that (a) I can choose when to take, and (b) I have to study for. In short, laziness is a beast. :<

So no, I don't have one.

I'm too young. ;;

I'll be turning sixteen in July, so I have to wait a little while before I can even think about going to my license.... although it wouldn't hurt to brush up on the rules of the road beforehand so I don't cram right before getting it. I'm really looking forward to it, though. I want to drive, just for that extra sense of freedom and because almost all my friends can... D:.

I'm still on my permit. I should have it in a few months though because I'm almost finished with my 50 hours <3

I can't wait, I get to drive myself to school next year \o/!

I have my drivers license. I was forced to get one got it before my parents went overseas, because I needed to drive around to do stuff...? o.o; Plus, I despise public transport.

I...don't. Nor do I want one at the moment. XD Call me the laughing stock of all teenagers, but I just don't see the point in rushing out to get a license when it's not even a necessity for me right now. If an emergency came up and I needed to get somewhere quickly, I have plenty of family members and friends who would be willing to help me out.

Besides, I spend most of my time at home, anyway. I'd rather save the little bit of money that I make right now instead of blowing it all on car payments, insurance, repairs, and all of the stinkin' gas that you have to buy. It's certainly not getting any cheaper, so... I'll just let myself worry about that later.

(And just so you guys know, I've driven golf carts since I was like, 6, and my mom also showed me how to drive a car down a country road. So I'm not a totally hopeless idiot. XD)

I have one, but I get sick of driving because of speed limits.

SAME STORY JUST ONE DAY EARLIER :]

Seriously, though, I can get my permit at 16, and my license at 16 1/2.

I'm getting my license in a month...though I'm not very eager to drive. XD
I do like to speed when no one else is on the road, but when there's traffic, changing lanes, merging, and yellow lights scare the hell out of me @_@. My parents will also make me do different odds and ends once I get my license, causing more pains for me...*groan*

I have my permit, not my license yet.

I'm not a comfortable person on the road, especially when I'm changing lanes, so I'm just not gonna get it for a while.

I don't. I have my permit, of course, and my dad started taking me out on the roads when I was 13. I know how to drive a stick shift and everything. My dad used to work by my high school, so he'd just drive me, and now that I'm in college, I walk everywhere (seriously, who's so lazy that they'd get in their car to drive a mile? Not me). I just honestly don't see why it's such a big deal for teenagers to get their licenses. It really doesn't give most people more freedom.

My dad's pushing me to get my license, but when they're both at work, there isn't a car I can drive anyway. It just really seems pointless to me. xD

I have my provisional license as it's called in the UK, it lasts 10 years, so, I have 10 years in which to learn to drive. lol

I'm 18 and I've had my license for about 8 months. That turned out to be way too long to learn how to drive and I consequently ended up squandering time in high school I could have used to actually leave the house and learn how to be a socially functional human being had I been able to drive. Now I'm stuck at community college where there's no one my age to interact with and I barely have any friends. Don't waste these years, kids. Learn to drive.

Or just don't live in a crappy town. That works too.

I don't yet and I've been saying I would go to get it for an entire year now. But I'm too lazy to go sit the test and I don't really need to drive yet. So I guess I'll keep waiting and watch all my friends go and get their's instead.

I've had mine for about three years. I wouldn't be able to drive to college without one, so...yeah. Kinda needed it. XD

Nope, but it's alright seeing as I'm only 13. x3 I can't wait to get one though.
