    Link

A website for my new custom pokémon tcg set.
This is mainly a thread for testing help, though of course comments are great!

    Things to check work:
Hovering over cells in the menu changes their colour
Hyperlinks load in the frame, not in the whole page (ie you still have the image bg and menu and whatnot, not just a big grey screen)
On the 'cards' page, that you get nicely transparent rounded corners for the cards, not a white box (browser compatibility)
Links to the cards open next to the list, not anywhere else.
Obviously report bad links/images or anything else that appears not to work.

Written in HTML and css (not implemented yet), with javascript onmouseover goodies.

Don't worry if you don't see any text on the homepage, there actually isn't any yet...

Thanks for feedback, no matter how small.

sorry to say:you layout is terible and you background image no even think about it,and try to post a site when it has more pages.if you need help,i can help.^_^

Would be quite helpful if you pointed out WHY on any of the points you mentioned. The layout: I see no problem, a main frame, with a menu and a title image? Shocking. Background image? Well, you could say it was too busy, but I made sure to but wide borders to break up the bg from the content.

i meaning that the the background image doesnt mix with pokemon, the image is bunch of bolts you think that image who mix.and another thing get a better hoster like freewebs.

    ps:are you a beginer webmaster.

Well, I don't like free websites with all those crappy ad bars and stuff, so I use my own webspace. Not huge so I outsource the image hosting to sites like imageshack etc. Bolts is just a texture what's the problem with that? I don't see why that makes it a bad website... A lot of sites have plain bgs, one doesn't complain about that. (Note: at least this texture tiles, unlike your website...)

And no, I don't think I am a 'beginer' as you choose to spell it. All my websites are written of my own code, unlike yours...

Sorry, but you are acting awfully trollish, what with the terrible grammar, spelling and punctuation, and the seeming inability to give reasons for your views.

Hehehe. You were owning him. I think it looks purty darn neat. You've really done a good job on this. I would love to be a member when its fully up and going.

When you post a link to your website on PC and ask for advise and comments, be prepared to get comments like his. Your layout is horrible, not Pokémon-ish at all. Try using an overall theme, i.e. color, banner, borders. You need to get content up also. You have none. And I agree about the host thing. You need to find a better one. I wouldn't say Freewebs, though.

Just be prepared for very hurtful constructive critism.

First of all, I hate the banner because of the card. Your link colour and text colour is awful too. The background image definitely doesn't suit the theme.

It seems you website uses frames which isn't search engine friendly.

    Need I say more?

I don't care about search engine hits, this website is an archive really. The 'theme' is dark greys with yellow links... the metallic texture fits that, and, well, the card is sort of a visual link to what the site is actually about... You can't criticise a website because it is about something you don't like...

What is wrong with yellow on grey?

like i try to say you swich to freewebs is better that freespace.
