6th Gen Looking Away

Hello, I recently got a Charmander from GTS, but whenever I order it to attack, it keeps looking away.
I have 0 gym badge, and the Charmander is level 11, so it should listen to me, but instead just keeps looking away. How can I get it to listen? Please help

Traded Pokemon won't obey you until you get badges, and I think the first badge only covers traded Pokemon up to level 10, so you're going to need the second badge for that Charmander to start listening. I'd be wary of levelling him up too quickly between badges as well!

Like stated above, you need badges for it to obey. Only pokemon you catch yourself will obey no matter, traded ones require badges. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Badge#Obedience
