    Hi everyone. I was wondering if there was anyone interested in starting a forum with me.

    I am horrible at programming and such, but I want to run a forum that is moderately popular and runs smoothly.

    I have no money, so we can use a free service. If you're willing to pay for a paid service, that would be fine too.

    I hope someone is interested.

    I could share my forums with you, like we could start a mini poke community ourselves.

    oh shoot I forgot about that, but I'm not really advertising I am just saying me and him can share a forum and showing me the link.

    Well, before you start a forum, you'll want to find a good host. Which normally means paid. If you want your forum to even become remoatly popular, you either have to sneak a deal with someone for some good bandwidth, or buy some hosting.

    Forums are bandwidth suckers. Big time. A forum with say, 1000 posts a month would use about 1 GB or so. (Not a meg per post, I'm including browsing the forum, etc.)

    Uh, and if you find a decent host, I'd be more than willing to co-admin. I run quite a few forums of my own...
     
    I have never seen so many short posts in my life -.- lol. Yeah.. I have been speaking in the admins they don't even want normal links in this Thread. This section is to help with Scripts and what not.

    That's my idea of a Webmaster's Discussion... input on design and help with coding...

    Oh, you are JKaizer? Do you know of a decent host I can use. I have no moolah to spend as I just bought Colosseum and a few clothes.

    Hey Pokemon706, don't you have a topic somewhere saying you were willing to host one more forum. Could you be a friend(if the spot hasn't already been taken) and give it to me. From what I last recall, you use phpBB?

    That was rather rude. There is a big difference between advertiseing and discussing, and this forum IMO is out of control.

    Alrighty, i personally don't see where this forum is going lol. But yes. It is a place to discuss Scripts and sites and help each other out. But it is also a place that you can tell each other about websites. As long as there not forum links and the links don't contain Hentai or Porn. It should be just fine.

    It's slowly draining into an abyss of forum and staff threads and will never be able to be brought out.
