I'll cut the crap and just say it:

I NEED someone to help me replace the memory batteries in three of my Pokemon games:

-Pokemon Silver
-Pokemon Crystal
-Pocket Monsters Crystal(Japanese)

I'm unable to do it myself. If anyone can help, please PM me and I'll set the terms.

If you yourself can't do anything, but you know anyone who can help me, please point me in their direction.

I don't care that I own HeartGold and SoulSilver. You can't play either on Stadium 2 or communicate with Pokemon Pikachu 2. Yes, yes, they can work with Battle Revolution and the Pokewalker, but it's not the same.

If a mod feels that this isn't the right place on the forum to ask, please move this to the appropriate place.

I can't help with that, but have you heard of a rom? They're much better and they can be sped up.

I prefer playing the real deal. It's compact and easily portable.


I've used ROMs for various systems in the past, and I just didn't get the type of "feel" I get when I'm playing the actual copy of a game.

My Brother did that with his Gold. He reloaded his save data using GameShark's snapshot feature, and over time alot of his Pokemon got scrambled-up names.

You could try a flash card (like the R4) and the lameboy emulator. I tried replacing my battery on Crystal, and if failed. :(

Flash Cards aren't really my thing. What I want is for my specific copies of Silver and Crystal to have their batteries replaced, not the cartridges themselves replaced.
