All of us know of the Looney toons, Bugs, Daffy, Tweety, Even one of the newest additions Lola Bunny. These Characters are of iconic stature in our country.

But Warner believes that children have become bored with these classic cartoon characters so the decide to change them into Dark "Super Heros" in the year 2779... I heard of this about a month ago but believed that there was no petition to change this.

GrayMattR from another forum I go to brought this to the attention of me and other members of the forum. I pass on his post to you.

    Save our Looney Tunes

This is apparently kinda old news but I just heard about it. How does the idea of the Looney Tunes gang transformed into a bunch of aggressive, mean and dark thugs strike you? That's what Warner Bros. studios is planning to launch this fall on WB Saturday mornings. You can see a picture and video of the new characters on this MSNBC story.

An 11-year-old in Tulsa, Oklahoma has started an online petition against it. You can read the story on CNN.

And check out his web page if you want to support the petition: https://www.saveourlooneytunes.com

I agree that there's always someone petitioning or protesting everything you can think of but I don't like the new idea. Kids don't need more aggression or mean examples to imitate.
