Ok, after logging around 25 hours of play, I've finally beat the Elite Four, and surprisingly with a seriously low-levelled squad. I offer the challenge to anyone - can you beat the Elite Four first time around with a lower level squad than mine? Note that these were the levels I started at BEFORE I entered the Elite Four

    Charizard - L50
    Cut
    Strength
    Flamethrower
    Metal Claw

    Blastoise - L50
    Surf
    Hydro Pump
    Tackle
    Protect

Note: Protect helped me so much against Lance's Hyper Beams

    Venusaur - L50
    Synthesis
    Razor Leaf
    Growth
    Leech Seed

    Raichu - L51
    Thunderbolt
    Thunder Wave
    Flash
    Quick Attack

    Pidgeot - L50
    Wing Attack
    Fly
    Quick Attack
    Featherdance

Featherdance was another great move to use at taking down Hyper Beam's power.

    Butterfree - L51
    Silver Wind
    Sleep Powder
    Psybeam
    Safeguard

    Items used:
    4 x Super Potions
    2 x Sweet Water
    10 x Revive
    10 x Max Potions
    10 x Full Restore.

I'm sure there are people out there who started off lower level and won, but I want to find them. Come on, beat my team! Who got lower than me in terms of level and beat the Elite Four?

I beat the e4 with late level 30s pokes but i barely made it.

Don't just say that, give details man. Moveset, items used, starting levels.

OK....Sorry I dont rememer my team's levels immediately after defeating the Elite 4.
This is the team in L/G after finishing the entire game....(I'm a pathetic trainer)

    Venusaur Lvl 54
    Holding Amulet Coin(I'm greedy:))
    Razor Leaf
    Solar Beam
    Sleep Powder
    Frenzy Plant

    Raichu Lvl 51
    Holding Leftovers

    Shockwave
    Thunder
    Brick Break
    Mega Kick

    Snorlax Lv. 53
    Holding Exp. Share
    Surf
    Blizzard
    HyperBeam
    Strength

    Pidgeot Lv. 54
    Holding Leftovers
    Aerial Ace
    Quick Attack
    Steel Wing
    Fly

    Alakazam Lv.56

    Psybeam
    Psychic
    Future Sight
    Recover

    Dugtrio Lv. 54
    Rock Smash
    Cut
    Earthquake
    Slash

And note that I'm telling u this team after finishing the game, not defeating the Elite 4, so some of the held items would have been changed...and I don't need any advise on how to train as well...I'm not playing it anymore.

Eeee... my pokemon were on level 50-60. I like strong Team. If your pokemon are on 30-45 level, you will lose a lot of nerves and money (Super Potions, Revive etc. aren`t for free). You must have a hard and sometimes long training - I agree, but later you feel like a real pkmn Master, not like a loser, who uses a lot of S.Potions etc.

After 24h, these were my results (for LG)

    Venusaur - L50
    Vine Whip
    Razor Leaf
    Earthquake
    Frenzy Plant

    Butterfree - L50
    Gust
    Silver Wind
    Giga Drain
    Psybeam

    Sandslash - L50
    Dig
    Iron Tail
    Aerial Ace
    Rock Slide

    Rapidash - L50
    Flamethrower
    Overheat
    Bounce
    Solar beam

    Jolteon
    Thunder Bolt
    Shock Wave
    Dig
    Shadow Ball

    Poliwrath - L50
    Surf
    Brick Break
    Ice Beam
    Psychic

    Items used:
    6 x Super Potions
    0 x Revive
    8 x Max Potions
    9 x Full Restore
    3 x Ether
    5 x Full heal

Well, actually, I used only 3 super potions throughout the entire thing, seriously. I'm not joking and maybe it was easy for me coz I played on an emu. U know, I save a game before meeting a trainer, then see what pokemon he/she's got, then reload that save state and change my top level pokemon....But I honestly used only 3 super potions that too after battle.
And Murpheos, what is your Jolteon's level?

no idea what pokes i had i change so much and i have no idea what levels theyre on ive been playin for 400 hours!

My Jolteon was also Lvl 50. its a personal thing, have all pokemon at lvl 50 b4 the elite 4

But don`t take my words so much to yourself^^ Everybody uses some Potions etc., its a normal thing. But it is quite not fair (for me, of course) when someone uses 20 Super Potions, for example. I remember, people don`t like Wally (from R/S/E) because he still uses some Potions, Super Potions etc.

I don't go for it low levels either, I go on a spending spree so I don't lose money I want when I lose against E4,a nd then when I lose, after getting some money, maybe, I buy stuff and try again, then my Pok?mon are at high levels and I have a lot of items o.o

    Here's what I used:

    Exeggcute Lv 41 @ Lefties
    - Leech Seed
    - Confusion
    - Reflect
    - Sleep Powder

    Golbat Lv42
    - Wing Attack
    - Confuse Ray
    - Bite
    - Astonish

    Gengar Lv41
    - Thunderbolt
    - Shadow Ball
    - Confuse Ray
    - Destiny Bond

    Alakazam Lv43
    - Psychic
    - Thief
    - Calm Mind
    - Recover

    Clefable Lv40 @ Lefties
    - Psychic
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderwave
    - Softboiled

The other was filler. I think it was my low-level HM Gyarados.

Obviously, Gengar was the monster used the most. I used about 20 Revives, and many Elixer-type items. Need to restore Destiny Bond's PP, after all.

I either KOed the opponents quickly with super-effective hits to Destiny Bonded them.

Edit: Forgot to mention I kept Gengar a Gastly until I got all the moves I wanted. Otherwise, Gengar can't have that set yet. Probably about 20 Revives, now that I think about it.

    I did it with:

    Lv. 50:

Blastoise; Venusaur; Charizard; Pidgeot; Machamp and Golem

Beating the Elite 4 with weak pokemon is a challenge. But, I enjoy training hard and then crushing them in a swift blow. I mean come on they're supose to be the BEST and if you go in there and knock them out without being scathed it's great. Imagine seeing the best professional football team be crushed by some random team that challenged them, like 48-7. It's a sense of accomplishment, and a sense of power. Well, that's just my two-cents.
