We all know it, do you think they should ever introduce it again as an actual pokemon?

I personally think it would be an awesome Ultra beast.

I think it would be fun if they made it an official Pokemon, formally incorporate the series' most well-known glitch

there's probably all kinds of ways to write it into the series

I definitely agree that it would've made for a great ultra beast; the UBs were supposed to be bizarre, overworldly creatures and Missingno would've fit right in with them. I also think it would be a neat hidden Pokemon, maybe they could make it so you have to talk to an old man, then surf on the east coast of a specific island to encounter it like in the originals.

It is recently that I have come to see a new somewhat interesting angle regarding the glitch pokemon like Missingno. Instead of wishing for them to receive the UB treatment, I imagined them as discarded elements of creation that, akin to Bellanoir from Palworld, are not supposed to exist in said world, dubbing them the Amalgams. The Amalgams would desire to be part of the world itself to the point of clawing at laws of reality in order to get in, residing within the Void where everything discarded by creation is left. The void would be like a graveyard of concepts, places & creatures that twists and contorts as more things get discarded from reality.

In terms of visual design, amalgams would combine the usual design cues of early pokemon games with slight digital or even eldritch horror elements. Some of the creatures would be more aggressive than others, but they all would have a fixation on becoming part of the real pokemon world, even if that means in some cases devouring the essence of those from there in order to gain the essence needed to enter reality.

I even came up with the ideas for how the design for the type-shifted legendary of the Orre Extradex would look like as well as the lore behind how he would have his existence refracted and subsequently transformed in the process.
Elderis, the Voyager Pokemon (name may be subject to change later) would represent the alternate possibility where Darkrai would discover the Void during his self-imposed exile and become forever transformed by it combined with the realization that his nightmares pale in comparison to what he would witness during his journeys across its vastness.
He would then on embody the aspect of the Void itself, both harnessing its chaotic power & holding its reality-distorting nature locked away from reality.
