So I've been animating and helping others more or less 2 years making their games visually decent and an idea dawned on my after playing x and y and some of the other pokemon mmo's out there. I think I have the ability of making a pokemon mmo with 2.5D graphics kinda like Ragnarok online (if any of you guys reading this have played if not check it out and you'd get the jist of what I'm talking about) but to get to the point I have an idea to make customizable trainers and a open world esque pokemon world. I've been currently working on human character models since there will be a lot of; with my idea of full customization, as well as I'm planning on making the pokemon semi customizable. only problem I am having with is lack of hands and a decent engine to make turn based gameplay, I'm fairly experienced in game design and currently in school to design games, I thought doing something like this on a really good scale would open some opportunities for myself others on the project and also making a pokemon game the fans have been asking for. The goal of the game would be to smoothly allow trainers to collect pokemon from region to region and battle others online while doing some story, sub-story, minor, and event type quests as well as allow battle to be seen open world. on the subject of battle I planned to make battles a little more challenging and involve movement along tilesets and allow trainers and wild pokemon to be visible while battling (maybe make them slightly transparent to avoid major lag issues but that's up for discussion) that being said/typed I had planned on adding some movement effects on the existing moves that would make sense on it to further involve depth for battling. I have also been thinking about adding character classes but that I'm not too sure about if I did so I already have a layout to involve chefs, breeders, officers, thieves, entertainers, and scientists but again all this content is up for change once production on the game itself is underway but I wanted some feed back from the community if anyone would like to participate with the project or give some advice/comments or anything ( since the game is trademarked this project is purely for experience in animation, game design and the dream all of us veteran pokemon fans have had since the game was brought to the U.S of battling and training pokemon with friends) let me know what you guys think? (with or without help I'm working on this project and plan on a beta release within the physical year or what's left of it)

It would probably be better if you posted this in Game Development because this section of the forum is for discussing main games and this thread seems more like advertising, recruiting, and I think you could get better feedback in Game Dev. Check out that area instead. :)
